Are they likely to just brush me off if I try and sort out a decent upgrade tariff before the 30 days notice period kicks in (it's under 2 weeks away)?

not o much brush you off but will prob ask you to call back when 30 days remain, this is what they did with me and i only had a week, although she did give me estimates of what they will give when i call back end of this week. worth a shot so you know whether to start looking around for new contract....

Well, they (CPW) sent me a text message about a week ago saying I was due an upgrade, so I assume they want me to contact them about it. I'll probably give them a call later on. Can anyone suggest the best way of going about getting 200mins at under £20? Do I say i've seen similar elsewhere? Do I just say I can't afford it?

You'll probably find that contacting o2 directly will get you a better deal than upgrading through CPW.

Just say your thinking of leaving as you've seen better deals & ask what they can do.

If I say it that way to them on the phone they will likely offer me a cashback deal. I don't want a cashback deal as I can only afford around £20 p/m for the line rental and cashback would be more than that (until the cheque arrives).

Does anyone have the numbers for both CPW and o2 direct?

    The numbers I have are:

    Cancellations: 0208 896 5491 (I don't know if this is CPW or o2)
Customer Services: 0845 655 2000 (listed on CPW website as CPW customer services)

I called the cancellations number and got the 150 cashback on o2 200 offer yesterday, but I don't know if that was o2 or CPW.

When o2 say they give you cashback - what they mean is they immediately credit your account. So you will get the first x no. of bills completely free until you use up your credit.

I tried calling o2 and it said my contract was managed by CPW, so I had to call them. I've spoken to three people now and they all offer exactly the same with no flexibility.

    o2 200 - 200 mins / 50 texts - £30 p/m
    12 month contract
    3 x £50 cheques back at 4, 8 and 12 month stages.

That's essentially 5 months free line rental, which isn't all that competitive. They said I could get my PAC code on March 22nd, so I need to find an alternative deal.

I'd ideally like to spend no more than £20 for around 200 mins / 50+ texts. I'd also prefer a 12 month contract. If this isn't possible and I have to do it via cashback, then what is the best cashback deal available on the k750i?

    I would personally get this deal - works out £70 - £30 (quidco) = £40 for the year (£3.33 a month).

If you really want the k750i then sell the 6230i on ebay and buy the k750i.

I know its cashback but think of all the money your saving!

I prefer Nokia, so that 6230i would be fine if it's that cheap. Would I be okay to cancel my contract with O2 via CPW and then signing up for another one with O2 via CPW? Also, I assume I can't use my PAC code from o2 contract to o2 contract, so I would need to put it on PAYG to immediately cancel the contract, right?
