    Do 02 ever give you an explanation for the decline? I'm not sure in the league of mobile providers how tough their searches are!
    Do you have any recent adverse entries or far back entries on your files?

    I got a mobile contract with Vodafone and and iphone type mobi:kisses: I have Bk registered from a few years ago, so I presume they only went back 3 years or didn't ask Experian if I'd been a naughty girl.

    Do you only like the iphone?

    Applied for a Citibank current account last week and today received a letter saying I have been provisionally approved. Wonder if I really have been? Signed the form anyway and sent it off. They asked for no ID though.

    This is usual, they do not credit score until you sign and return the forms. Basically, you'll find out soon enough - ring them after 5 days and you'll get decision.

    Just because they sent the forms does not guarantee acceptance, they do all the searches upon completion. I too got declined the bank account back in january but the out the blue, about 3 weeks later my gold card dropped through the letterbox - as I applied for bank and CC and the bank declined, I just assumed the CC declined too but it never!

    Weird eh....? They wouldn't give me a bank account with maximum exposure of £2500 (25 cheques x £100 g'tee limit) but they give me a CC with a £2k limit!

    Makes no sense :confused::confused:

    Good luck with the application anyway mate, try ringing for decision. They may decline due to income as you need to earn £20k.... but then again this is Citi who seem to break their own rules at times so you never know...
