Nah I dont need it. Got my vanquis, cap one and Flybe now just want to do one more Equifax search before I leave it for 10 months and my credit file is clean so I can start applying for mainstream.

Apply between these hours mate:

Mon - Thur 08.00 - 18.00
Friday - 08.00 - 16.30

Then you'll always get instant decision (unless referred)....... who you going to apply to next then matey?

I hardly use it nowadays and always clear it in full but want to get rid of my Vanquis for a much better card as in lower APR. I am already with FlyBe so would it be worth applying for the Accessories card?

Is there any other options out there? I have not had a search for over 6months I am sure.

Well I was going to go for a Barclaycard just as I can spare an equifax search. I have 2 defaults on equifax but this would be my last search till my credit file becomes clean next summer so I may aswell give it a try. When I get declined I may try to appeal it too. But am not gonna be too bothered as I have the 3 cards to be reporting to the credit agencies for the next year which should be enough.

HSBC phoned me today regarding my appeal letter. They said unfortunately they still cannot offer me a card as with the information I've supplied and the documents, I still do not meet their criteria, and that I should try again in 6 months.

My mother has applied for a Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo CC in her name and said she'll put me as an additional card/account holder and cut up her cards. I can then put the statements to online only and just use Internet Banking to pay it off.

While it has no effect on my credit rating, at least I have a cheap way of borrowing if I ever need to. Going to get her to ring up when she gets in from work to see if it was accepted, what the limit and APR is. Applied yesterday so hopefuly they have a decision today.

Just paid off my Vanquis card. It's at £0 now. Just waiting for my next statement so I can pay the interest off, then it's going.
Now going to get the £200 on Aqua paid off.
