I already have a Vanquis card which I clear in full each month, have just applied for an Aqua card as I really need to build up my credit score as all my nasties are due to come off it next year. Fingers crossed x

How lovely to get an unexpected 'windfall'. You've got 2 more pieces of good luck to come your way. These things happen in 3's :T.

In that case, I better apply for two credit cards. :rotfl:

I Have been using my Vanquis card quite a lot over the last few days, and yesterday I used it 3 times before getting to ASDA and having it declined (Not actually declined message but a issuer could not authorize the transaction message), so I tried a Pay-at-Pump and the transaction was canceled !, I phoned Vanquis but they were closed, but the guy on their lost and stolen line reckoned it might have been blocked if I had used it quite alot, but I still had over £600 available, he recommended I call them back on Tuesday when they reopen, but today I tried it again (Also in ASDA) and it worked fine, any ideas ?, is it blocked or a Vanquis System problem.

Finally sold my car after 6 weeks of trying for a measly £200. Tax was up on Sunday and I needed it gone as I could not do a SORN
