Sutton, i see you have just been accepted for Grattan catalogue. I was accepted for this a few weeks back, got the cat through the door with £300 limit. All was good! Anyway, i call up and make my first order and that was fine too but received a letter a week later to say i could not have it now due to credit check. I have just left it at that but is there anything I can do?

Still disappointed after not getting an Empire account, but at least my Aqua PIN arrived today. Just waiting for the card now :beer:
Also still waiting for the PIN number for my Vanquis card, there seems to be a hell of a backlog at Vanquis at the moment :rolleyes:

Thanks for the good lucks. I have a feeling I'll be seeing a "We're sorry" letter soon from Flybe but hey, you never know.

I see Play.com has just released a credit card, could be worth applying for if they are desperate for customers to get that venture off the ground?

The play.com card is issued by MBNA so guessing any desperation on plays part will have little to do with it

Congratulations!! You're probably better off without Empire anyway, the prices of products in catalogues at so expensive, I'm surprised they are allowed to get away with it. A product I was looking at had been overpriced by £300!
