Equifax sent this same name alert to me when my Littlewoods Account was added.
Don't worry Innocent, it sounds alarming initially showing as such, but it IS how they register the account onto your Equifax file.
If you take a look under 'credit agreements', it should show as Shop Direct Finance Company Limited (I) /xxxxxx etc0 -
I rung HSBC and said '1st direct offered me a CC with £6400 limit; I dont bank with them, I do with you so how is this possible? If my behaviour score was not acceptable to you why is it to them?
They said 'i'm really sorry Mr N-i-D, your behaviour score is excellent - we are not allowed to tell you what it is but you definitely pre-qualify for a CC'. I applied and said I wanted them to match 1st direct - it went to underwriting anyway LOL

My Brother checked his Experian file today for the first time and their is no CCJ or defaults, I can now understand why Vanquis accepted him. :cool:
