Yes indeed you can settle it early.

There maybe a little interest to pay, that would be determined at the point you decide to settle the loan and how much is left too pay etc.

Well I think I am going to stop applying for stuff for the next 18 months (yes 18) and let my ccj and defaults drop off. I already have a current account and use my sisters main stream card at the moment to tide me by. So by quarter 4 2010 I should only have green 0's from my cusrrent accounts and 2 credit cards.
