I think that would probably help my chances to be honest. I have finished the DMP, the defaults are really old, earn a decent wage and have very little outgoings. In the last year just have had my phone contract and that has all green thingies on experian always paid it on time. Also my mbna on my experian has full green thingies for the last 4 years. Hopefully might get a break

Basically the default I had with 02 was the fact I sent court summons for the inccurate data recorded on my credit files. 02 in the last minute agreed to remove the adverse data! As for the late payments (some are pretty late), i was successful in challeging the late payments via Equifax dispute area (you need to be a subscriber to Equifax to access this)- some agreed to amend pretty quickly and some refused and told Equifax data is valid and correct. I wrote many letters over a period of a year and eventually they gave in and remove the late payments as gesture of goodwill. Just keep at it. You need to explain and justify why you think the late payments should be removed as the lenders kept on saying the adverse info is accurate and factual. Hope this helps? Barca triumphed on away goal rule cos even though it was a draw, they scored at Chelsea's home hence the rule gives them an advantage

Well that doesnt sound positive ;p

I would like the cards but if not then I will just have to wait untill next year. If I get turned down for these theres nothing I can do and would be no point applying untill my credit file is clear I suppose. But 12 months goes by pretty quick eh

Mate halifax specialist lending is a nightmare, they seem to make decision on who you speak to so always be nice and if it a woman, phone flirt! LOL
