    Hi,

I have posted this in 'LOANS' but dont seem to be getting anywhere, I know some smart people hang out on this thread here so here goes:

I have two accounts with Orange (mobile phones) on my Credit file which started in 2001 and were covered by my IVA which started May 2003.

Now, neither accounts were marked as 'DEFAULTED' but marked as 'SETTLED' in 2005, all good so far. BUT, on my Equifax credit file they show missed payments from 2002/2003 whereas on my Experian file the repayment history does not go back so far.

So my question is: how will these missed payments in 2002/2003 affect my ability to get credit today? Should I ask Equifax to mark these 'SETTLED' Orange entries as 'DEFAULTED' so that they are removed in May 2009? Seems like a step backwards in order to move forwards to me.

I would say the missed payments will have little no to effect on your ability to gain credit

I know that. I just wanted to know if it had been fully opened and Next hadn't changed their mind.
