LLoyds claim

I have decided to start right from the beginning with these and have sent of my £10 cheque and Martins letter. This was over 2 weeks ago and iv checked my account this morning and the cheque hasnt even been cashed.
How long does it normally take?
Have they got a history of ignoring peoples letters. It was hand written and i didnt send it by recorded mail so im a bit worried they are just going to claim they havent received it?
Thinking it over...:o

Hi There, I used to bank with Lloyds TSB and went back through my internet banking to check out my charges. Would this be an option for you?

They have 40 days from the cashing of the cheque. Was it sent recorded delivery?

They are refusing to give me access to internet banking now as the "account is now closed"
However, i did ring customer services and asked her to send me a list of the charges and she said she would.

Beware of this! LTSB told me on the phone that they'd send out a list of charges (I'd been able to get a list from Capital One via a request on the phone). I duly waited 40 days and then rang them, only to be told that I needed to put my request in writing with a cheque for £10. I've now received them and my first letter has gone off.

To save yourself time, I'd get the charges request sent off in writing now.
