Went to the checkout with 2 sets and was charged £16 total - was expecting to pay £2!!
(I think they've got the wrong pic in the booklet and the ones that are 4 for a £1 are the cheaper, plain ones. The ones I got are a melamine kind of thing, bright pink with a pattern on them.)
Unfortunately, I didn't get double the difference as CS said that the price on the shelf was correct. It was late and I was tired and couldn't be bothered to argue! But nevertheless quite chuffed with getting some nice picnic stuff very cheap!! :j

Punnets of fruit - blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, the blueberries were mentioned on the SEL at ANY 2 for £3 but it didn't say how many grams of blueberries.... I asked two sale assistants and both said it was fine to take the 225g blueberries which were the only ones out (they looked around a bit first). Went through at £1.98 each, no deal, CS gave £2 DTD (and a couple of pence more!) back... and seemed too frustrated to go and even check and didn't seem too bothered about changing the price.
So two punnets of fresh fruit for £1
Originally the blueberries were £3.99 per punnet!!
this worked for me too.. thanks!:beer:0 -
i don't understand how you got two punnets of fresh fruit for £1?
you bought two punnets of blueberries which you were charges £1.98 each = £3.96
so DTD would have been 96p x 2 = £1.92
£3.96 - £1.92 = £2.04??
please correct me if i'm wrong!?0 -

Well i can only speak for myself, but after dtd it worked out like you said. two punnets for £2 instead of £3. either the op received an even better deal or they're forgetting that in the first place they were charged £4, not £3 and so after DTD had actually paid £2 for both punnets. incidently with mine there were conflicting offers on SELS. the blackberries were grouped in with the any 2 for £3 on one but had a seperate £1.99 half price offer on another.0 -
Tesco silverburn have a shelf full of travel size beauty items. Buy 4 and pay £3.50. But they went through individually and didnt take discount off. CS refunded me and gave me itemsTRYING hard to be a good money saver :rolleyes:0

I had a look at the leaflet and the blurb says Fushia set but the picture is of another set that is called something else ( cant remember what but will look later). The real Fushia set is plain pink plates in sets of 4 for £1.00 whereas the ones pictured are £4.00 each. Dont know how but I am sure if you went to the till tey would try to wriggle out of it. I may try later at the store in the next town as they dont really like me in my local after I complained about CS a few months ago. Dont know where you would stand with Trading standards as the picture is of the more expensive ones but it says they are called Fuschia which arethe cheaper ones. Any ideas anyone?0
