Just went up to get some of this.

The pork stickered, barcoded, and sel'd at 2.99 per kilo has arrived at the store like that and is a promo. It is just marked Boneless pork leg.

The other pork leg without the stickers is still priced up at 5.98 per kilo and still scans up at £5.98 per kilo and is priced up instore - there was no SEL for this.
The pork was all in the same place, however the big difference is that the full price pork is labelled as 'British Pork' and the special offer pork is just labelled 'pork' (and in fact comes from Holland).
Initially the CS lady was as confused as I was, but an alert Supervisor noticed the difference and they agreed to let me have the British Pork at half price, and there was no chance of getting DTD as there was no SEL for the 'British Pork'. Anyway got some British Pork at half price:-)

Sorry you missed the DTD caroc - c.s. went out back and confirmed with mgr that dtd was correct, not usual for this particular cs.

twig1 mentioned this in another thread maybe not realising this one.

When I checked my bill in the car I had picked up a 12 pack of diet pepsi (special promotion pack)buy 6 get 6 free when I looked at the bill they had scanned at £4.46 not £2.64. Went back in bought 4 more packs and got dtd on all five. £4.10 for 60 cans. Just under 7p a can. Thats me and my Vodka sorted for a while. :D

Given that this is the Misprice Thread, this also seems up with Mr T's best:

looks like a mysupermarket mistake there. Tesco website shows it as £2.99/kg down from £5.99/kg

£10.47 is probably the price for an average 3.5kg piece

It does come out of our pocket (Less Free Shares) and then out of yours, as prices go up because of this.

Then you should be taking this up with managers and reminding them not to overprice stuff and rip customers off. We're not responsible for the out of date/inaccurate SELs! ;)

As has been said before, Tesco offers DTD as a sweetener to prevent customers reporting them to Trading Standards.
