Just a quick post about electricals. Spent hours looking on Saturday with my OH and he worked out that if you are looking for a bargain the box is the key. Older style boxes scan cheap where as the newer styles are full price. HTH someone.I am a Dolphin Angel:A

well I give up! The Midlands is rubbish!! Either there are some very quick MSEr's out there getting there before me or as I said, the midlands is just rubbish! :-(
Well done to all of you getting the bargains though, it's nice to read all the things you are getting, even if I am a little jealous! :-)0 -
Magicowen don't give up. I hadn't got anything up until Saturday. Then yesterday I got a few cameras and a netbook. I think the stores are getting deliveries all the time.I am a Dolphin Angel:A

I managed to get a soft spongey football for 30p on Saturday, that was it!
Glad you managed to get some things though :j
I'm praying for a netbook! :A0 -
shazybizzle wrote: »how can you scan laptops on the shelf ? i been to the solihull branch and they said the shelf prices are the prices the laptops are sold at no cheaper
ps please put them back though as the store would quickly gt fed up with this practice0 -
hi, purchsed an 8 pack of pepsi this morning at my local store and even though there were signs saying pepsi 8 packs half price, I got charged the full amount. So I will return later for DTD as customer services were shut. From what I have seen the half price offer started today, so systems may not have been updated. Will give it another go on my way to work.0

if they are in the main laptop area they should have a small item ticket in front of them. (the ones you would normally take to the counter if you wanted the item). on the back of these are the bare codes for the product. take these to the scanners
Conveniently, these tickets are almost never there in my stores. So you have to ask the electrical desk to price check on the computer, who then tell you it's still full price when they see a cheap one .0 -
Morning everyone, working today so won't be at T's till this evening, have to go and pick up a tv from direct so will have a good scout around then;) unless as I always say, a major glitch comes up and I NEED to go;)
Happy hunting everyone:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Could you take a picture with a mobile and scan the picture at the scanner?
Will try this today......could save going back'n'forth with products to scanners!!!!!
I've tried and couldn't get it to work. Sometimes needs must so walking back and forth should be viewed as exercise - or that's what I told myself yesterday!0 -
Little Tecnika travel speakers, in purple at least, possibly blue are £2.
These are they:
