I visited several stores this weekend and saw those phones with the OOD SEL - I have already bought sets for myself and family and even bought a set for School Christmas Raffle - but saving my DTD in the other stores for another day.
I think they had them in Ch£sterf1ld and M@nsf1eld (both stores)
These must be over a month OOD now!andreavinne wrote: »Just to share with u all...succesful trip today. Went to tesco po*nders e£d today. Didnt find any of cheap electrical, few cheap toys but. Bt twin pack phones out of date sel £39.99 went through at £89.99.i have checked the price first and then got 2,so 2 free phones and £20 in my pocket. I had dtd of £200,spent an hout in a shop though.0 -
Just back and got a few accidental DTD's, The meal deal was'nt working properly so got 18p back and had also bought 4 2L bottles of pepsi max as SEL said £1 a bottle. It went through on a different deal of 2 for £2.60 so got £2.40 DTD back. Wasnt go to bother claiming but thought it was totally innocent so I would. Got another tresemme hairdryer for £2.86, scanned it first with the pharmacy girls who got all excited about the price and all picked one up themselves, So they're my new friends now as well as the mobile phone man who scans for me:T Then got 2 sets of headphones for a pound each and 2 freshmatic imotion compacts in precious silk & oriental orchids. Normal price £10.20 SEL £5.10 but went through at £1.29:T Czerchania they were busy reducing the toys right down in new Y, at the end of an aisle upstairs.
Still no irons or blenders but I'm sure one will appear on a glitch soon!!
Oh and when I got home their was a box on the door step with my free box of celebrations but no pencil sharpener?Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Has anybody purchased any of the large tins of sweets (quality street, roses etc) this morning? Online this is showing a new deal starting today 26/9/11 at better than half price was £10, however the online price is still £10 even when item is added to basket. Was wondering if it was scanning instore at £10 as well and maybe SEL would be "less than half price"?????
saw a big sign in the s0ut4 w1g5t0n l1ecs store carpark as i was leaving saying theyre £4.50 for the 800grm tins didnt notice any in store. has anyone ever actually got a good bargain here i never seem to get any was hoping for lego or electricals as youngest loves lego and youngest DD is filling her bottom drawer.
pasta went through at £1,20 and lego with half price stickers was scanning at 1/2 price. im so rubbish i cant eve find the price checker scanner it used to be in the medicines isle and didnt work now i cant even find one

Well, I was one of those nutters who were instore just after 6 - no sign of a sale though. Did find the £49 notebook on display, got all excited but had to wait till 9 for the electrical desk to open. Aaaargh! Tech guy told me people were asking after it last night, soon as it was posted on this site I guess. None left in Glasgow and display can't be sold as it's not the end of the line. I gave up on finding it after a very curt and unhelpful assistant in St R*ll*x replied, 'If it's not on the shelf, we don't have it'. Saw him 2 mins earlier heading to the back with a Toshiba box though...very possibly the one I was after. Marked for staff, no doubt. Have found this store denying the existence of any reduced electricals throughout the past two weeks, so not very impressed.
Bottom line, apparently the price on the Toshiba LD (£49) is an error, as it's still a current line, so consider yourself very lucky if you managed to get one.
Did find a Morphy Richards kettle for £5 and the last pair of Sony headphones. Also the Kenwood blender for £4, just one sitting all by itself waiting for me(result!).
St R*ll*x had 2 Tesco mini sewing machines if anyone's interested. Marked at £14. Mini chopper scanned full price, as did I-Trim and all the razors I tried.0 -

While returning a faulty item for a refund someone at CS was getting a refund for and ovrcharge on some mince. Having a sneaky peak it looked like outdoor reared pork mince which is half price at £2 but scanning at £4 so with DTD free mince. I can't give any more details as I've not been able to track it down online but it did have a dig red sticker on saying half price £2 or something like that. Hope someone finds it. K0

Hey guys, Well looks like you've all cleaned out Sl*ugh before I could get there
but I just wanted to ask a really dumb question - how do you find these bargains? Is it literally a case of choosing some and taking them to the price checker or is there something you specifically look for on the SEL?
I'm not asking to be greedy, but if I could help out to find a bargain it would be fab :jFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I was at CS getting a lovely DTD on Lindermans Sydney Cove wine OOD Sel . 6 Bottles cost me £5.45 . Any way there was a man with the pork mince with the red half price stickers on getting a £4 refund , couldn,t go back in as I had just had my large refund . So yes def. one to look out for .Never pay more than you have too0 -
