I've lost my T's mojo today:(

As Peter Gabriel would say "Don't give up", you give us our mojo and alot of the bargains, if you need inspiration why not have some jelly and custard, with a special K bar and biscuits for cheese, and a drink in a stripy glass. Go Nikkilala don't you have to drop ssomeone off and Mr T is on the way???
  • A big fat nothing again for me today, I'm either rubbish at spotting things or my local T's is totally on the ball......:(:(:(

They won't use them for long because if they go through the dishwasher too many times they fade, I've got no lilac stripes on my coloured ones now:(

And that's why I only use 4 of my 24 black ones as the rings have gone matt from being nice and shiny. I knew there was a reason I was keeping stuff good!

hope everything went ok caz, pm me if you want to talk xx

Might take you up on that offer but at the minute I'm loaded with a head cold and dealing with 3 kids (my 2 sons and the Ex :rotfl:)

I'll be braving Asda tomorrow. Would someone remind me what an Asda store looks like and how you do a proper shop and buy goods you really need instead of walking around scanning SELs?

P.S. has anyone else apart from me and someone else a few pages back managed to get the Sony iPod docking station? SEL £49.97, scanning at £69.97. With a £5 off technology till spit it came to £25 after DTD and it's a fantastic wee radio/iPod/iPhone player. I know my local has them in their seasonal/clearance section but not risked scanning as I chanced my arm at another store that didn't have a scanner.

:rotfl: I'll think of this quote every time I use the price checkers :rotfl:

No I managed to get the iPod dock and posted on here about it. A day or two later someone else managed to get a couple as well. Just curious as to whether it's nationwide or not. I'm too well known in the store with scanners to be lugging such a big box half way round the store. It wasn't free I agree and I normally don't like to pay for anything but I felt like treating myself. Given the last few months, I dare anyone to criticise me for it
  • Got a pair on in car dvd players that are being bought for my kids for xmas by the grandparents sel £79.97 charged £99.97 so £40 dtd back no probs. these were the tecknica brand, there was also a portable dvd player with same expired sel of 14/9 but didnt need. The sel in the electrical ailsw was correct but these were in the clearance ailse

now reading the above posts ...dam I forgot my £5 off till spit grrr oh well

Wow, those are great prices. My local never does good whoopsies, only ever 10-25% off :(

Been very lucky lately, it's all in the timing. In my local 10-25% off is on that days produce until around 5pm then everything is then reduced to 50% most days, and the final discounts happen around 7pm now, used to be around 8pm with 75%/80% off and the odd occasion 90% but last couple of weeks have been a wonderful 90% reduction since they have been doing it earlier. Got £150 worth of shopping couple weeks ago for £11 as with reductions was £15 but got another £4 off for buying 4 lots of meat can't quite remember which offer it was. Had 70p rump steak tonight that fed 4 of us decent size steaks. :T

Did a bit of Asda shopping tonight for DD2s move to uni, few smart price kithcen essentials that had not managed to pick up in Ts glitches but I should have noted some of the prices of Ts as the microporous tape was 20p cheaper in Ts! Some things I knew would be cheaper hence the visit after. ;)

Did a bit of research at Ts and a Morpy Richards Comfort 2300w Iron was scanning £12 instead of SEL £38 and originally £70ish (think have got details of make right, I'm a bit tired as shopped out!) and a medium Union Jack hard shell case £16 and SEL £20. Both the wrong way for DTD do they count as a misprice to be posted here?

No SEL for the pukka pads so thought might be in luck but scanned at £4.50!

I called in at solstice store on the way up to London on Thursday. They had lots of clearance items including the mediteranean canisters at 65p. I got 2 cream t canisters to match the 2 cream sugar ones I got at my local for£1. Each. Then I spotted a prestige pressure cooker reducedfrom £30 to £17 so as my mum needs a new one I got it.
It went through at £70 so I got £106.00 dtd. Best dtd i have had in a few weeks!!

Just catching up on the Tesco DTD thread....I went to Tesco on Thursday and was overcharged by £5 ish as the guy on the till scanned 3 lots of meat the same instead of separately as they were individually priced.

I went to CS and got the money back but not DTD - should this have been DTD?

What are the rules please for DTD?

    Thanks x
