I heard managers talking in my local store, saying this wasn't working and they were in the process of removing every SEL so no one could get a DTD. Sorry I don't know what was wrong as its not an offer i'm looking at.

Unexpected DTD today - went by a dump bin with Megablocks 80 block bags for 1+ years with big shouters on it for £7, it had pink packs and the ordinary packs in it. Picked up one of the ordinary ones for my grandson thinking it was a bargain at £7 and it went through at £9.97, £5.94 DTD given with no prompting at all, so a nice little Christmas present for £4.04!

Slightly annoyed I did not scan them though, scanned the Out There bouncy castle (the one with a reduced label on it for £16 odd) to find out how much it was, never thought to scan the mega blocks. Unfortunately the prices have now been removed in Sa**h**st. By the way, the bouncy castle was scanning at £6, not quite cheap enough when I've got to store it for a couple of years, £3 and I might get it!!!

Edit: Just realised the bag is actually 70 blocks, but the sign said 80 blocks, surprised they didn't try to wriggle out of that one!!

Took hubby shopping today and hes not as embarassed as he used to be.. bless... managed some Honey Shreddies and some soup but someone beat me to the Special K and I dont think they sell the 5 packs of frootz.. boo... loads of Shreddies left at Sand..hurs..t though

No Special K or Frootz on the shelves in my local. Did get 14 of Whitworths Mango (30g bags)- the SEL says 14x30g 39p on this one, while all the other flavours say 30g for 39p (also 3/£1). Got charged individually for the 14 bags (I was so surprised ) and went to CS. After removing the SEL, a CS manager explained that the 14x30g was just for the reference of the shelf packers. They couldn't explain why the others were marked differently though... got JTD in the end.

Stubborn as I am, I had to mention DTD (it's the principle!)...eventually a duty manager tried to argue with me that I misunderstood the label and should have looked at the bit that says 9p/100g, not the product description, even though it clearly is a misprice. She maintained that the 14x30g is not for the customer's reference, yet insisted the price per weight was! Was getting nowhere, so told her I'd clear it up with HO. Not worth further discussion really and wasn't bothered about getting DTD, it was just that I wanted them to acknowledge a mistake!

Anyway, worth a punt if someone fancies a few bags of mango pieces.

Also got 6 Shreddies and 6 soups (only had mushroom flavour) with no problems. My T's never do any of the glitches or cheap stuff, so gotta take advantage if I do get something!

Just got back from Mr Ts Marxxt Weixxton and still not restocked bounty bars but had restocked special Ks, me an daughter got a dozen between us for 44p a box instead of 1.78, Strawberry Frootz went through at full price, Tesco finest Biscuits for cheese still going through at 59p instead of 2.38 so got another box for xmas, the glasses that I got DTD on the other day were still there but noticed it was same SA on customer services and Im sure she would have remembered me, so will leave it another couple of days. Picked up my printer inks from Mr Ts and got 500 extra clubcard points so I am going to have a marathon printing day today, now where did I put that printer paper!!

I bought the 9 x roll white Andrex that you get the 5p of fuel with when you buy two. Yellow SEL said £4 each but was charged £9.32 so DTD of £2.64 and petrol voucher.
