As the member of staff walked ahead of us to the till I whispered moneysavingexpert and the other chap said "yes"!! first time I've met another MSE'er. I won't name you on here, in case you're shy!

I had a similar situation a few months ago only it wasn't a Friend of Martins, just a new Friend of Caz's. Something I bought was going to get me a DTD so I went back to check the shelf to "reassure myself" that I wasn't imagining the price. Happened to meet a lady browsing that aisle and told her the story. She went off and paid while I went to CS with an innocent DTD. Over she comes a few minutes later holding her item and receipt and you wouldn't believe it but didn't I have 2 of the same item in my trolley that I didn't realise I'd been overcharged on as well.

The store only had 3 of that item and I felt bad that the last one wouldn't go to a good home so I spread the love. I'm sure they thought it was a set-up but what can they do?

There's actually a possible DTD in my local but I already got it in another store. I'd love to tell a couple of people as the last I looked there were at least half a dozen on the shelf and it seems a shame for only one person to benefit.
  • Special K (44p) and Maryland cookies (28p) worked for me today. No Penne though so not an awfully healthy day. Got some reduced prawns due to the use day date being today. I'll be freezing them so it's not an issue. Browsed the electricals but no OOD SEL's ( yet !!!! ). Stripey glasses are also in my store but I need to check the glitch on them.

All the Bounty's gone only two empty boxes left No Frootz No Special K no Maryland cookies I had to console myself with two boxes of the Tesco finest chees Biscuits 59p instead of £2.38 and three lovely wine goblets SEL said 87p each glasses stickered with three for two, thought I would take a punt and hey ho went through at 87p each so a little DTD of £1.74 and a tin of free soup courtesy of Mr Campbell Good luck to those that got the Bountys I will have to settle for 19p Aldi chocolate!!

Snap, just did 6 of the wine glasses with the 3 for 2 stickers on and got DTD:T Got more bounties, crackers, cereal and soup and then the best thing ever happened. They were doing the reducing and the machine broke so they manually wrote 20p stickers for every single thing in the reduced shelves:eek::eek::eek:. They couldnt work out the reductions so just made it all 20p. We are talking things that should have been £14 like joints of meat, bacon, pies everything. Mine came to £5.40 and I wouldnt even like to guess how much it should be, so a fab shop all in all:T:T:T Had my mum and auntie with me so we had a field day!!!
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

I couldnt believe it, it was like all my christmases had come at once:rotfl:And their was a little old man pondering over the bacon so I sidled up to him and said if you go over there all the bacon is 20p a packet instead of £3. He grunted thanks to me and as I was getting in my car he walked past me and gave me a big smile and thumbs up:T

Its a great feeling isn't it? I took my mother with me today and showed her the wave pyrex dishes that had a SEL of £14 but scanned at £3 ish. She decided to start telling everyone on the isle... then everyone at the checkout! She didn't seem to care that they didn't all want pyrex, she just wanted them to know! :A
  • These last few weeks of T's glitches have left me feeling absolutely knackered!!!!:obut happy:rotfl:I have spent every spare minute running backwards and forwards to T's...and checking the board but have lost 5lbs!!
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • Just saw on hukd: Tesco finest dinner for two is back from tomorrow for just £10.... I know it's been around now for a couple of years but now it also includes Tesco finest soup if you don't want a dessert.... 1 x Soup or dessert 1 x Side dish 1 x Main course 1x Bottle of wine or coke 6pack contour bottles If your not bothered about a side dish then you can have both the soup and dessert instead :) Some of the wine itself costs nearly a tenner.

Maybe something will not kick in???? Possible dtd if they get the pricing wrong again? Why oh why do I get so carried away with the possibilities! Reckon I need to wean myself off but it truly is addictive!
:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
