Depends which Leicester you mean but either way I have not found the Frootz or Special K at Beaum*nt Leys, A$hby, or $outh Wigst*n, which ones your local, or maybe Hamilt*n

think the sout4 w19ston gives it away.. lol..

    b.l3ys for me...
  • Got DTD of £33 on the picnic meal deal this morning, after being trouted for half an hour but stood my ground. Would like to say a big thanks to all who post their stories on here as it has given me a set of automatic responses to come back at them with when trouted instead of being embarrassed into leaving with nothing. It's their policy after all!

Not sure if all stores are doing this Picnic promo, it is buy 5 items from the special chiller and a bottle of wine, for £10. I got:
    1x stuffed peppers
    1x sundried tomatoes
    1x garlic dough balls
    2x 4pk chicken breasts
    1x pino grigio

Some silly shelf stacker had put packs of 4 cooked chicken breasts and drumsticks (about 500g each) bang in the middle of the chiller (eyeline is buyline :D) which to me obviously looked like they couldn't be part of the deal, no SEL but scanned at £6 each . I was charged about £27 as the offer didn't kick in. First of all the SA thought it was the dough balls (as previously reported on this thread) but I kept quiet and eventually walked away £23 up (I think!):T:T:T

My maths is a bit fuzzy but I know I came out on top and it was worth the half hour wait. Thanks to you guys I've the confidence to challenge CS. Strange that my store used to be so automatic at honouring it, the last two times I've gone in though, they've been offering JTD/refund rather than DTD at first. I can't point to the board as the "If things don't add up" signage has been gone for some time. I wouldn't be surprised if the CS staff are being told to hold off on DTD unless pressed.

Strange also that although my DTD experience today was smiles all round, I still feel guilty, God knows why. It lasts about 24 hours then I can brave the store again.:o ok maybe 2 hours:rotfl:

Got the bounty glitch today and also the tesco finest cheese biscuit selection boxes RTC at around 50p a box instead of around £2.50! The picnic deal glitch didn't work so I told the SA to take em off!

No new glitches today? How very disappointing!

Over heard some staff on an aisle talking, they had a handful of what looked like new yellow offers lables. One said, "well its not normally done until midnight is it? I think I'll go and check." And off she went with a Box of Nature Valley Cereal bars. Seen as they are not on offer currently, it may suggest they were almost premature in putting out a offer label. Worth checking out as you look for the Special K bars, I was going to but my little boy was being a pain and the other SA stayed there.

They also had Pink Fisher price bounce and spin Zebras in my store for £20. Label said 'NEW'.

Looking now perhaps I should of got one. Or at least scanned as its seems too cheap.

After looking around I'm going back for the bounce and spin Zebra, will report my findings :D

Editted: Scanned for £20, I now have one of my daughters 1st birthday presents, shame it isn't till April.

Just been into my local T's and managed to get the BT Freelance twin phone set! :j (charged £89.99 when yellow SEL said £39.99 - out of date sticker)

What was funny was, I'd just paid, walked outside to do a ponder of the price, went back in to "reassure myself" the price was right on the shelf and as I walked up to it met a member of staff with the SEL in his hand and a box of the phones accompanied by another chap. I said "Oh, is that the same phone as mine - I've been overcharged" or words to that effect.

As the member of staff walked ahead of us to the till I whispered moneysavingexpert and the other chap said "yes"!! first time I've met another MSE'er. I won't name you on here, in case you're shy!

Even better we were both refunded £100 cash despite paying on card, £10 up, 2 phones up and a petrol voucher that they didn't take off us! And to think I nearly didn't bother venturing out as only went to find the £1 Honey Shreddies that are free with the £1 voucher, but couldn't find them!
  • Bounty glitch is working in AB3RD33N D4N3ST0NE. I knew this was working due to how few we're left on the shelfs so I picked up 6 packs.
