Just a thought. My local Tesco doesn't have the blue board with dtd info. Does this mean that they won't do dtd?

They should have the policy on an A5 leaflet enclosed in perspex at each till. You noticed it while packing your stuff the other day and your mum/nan/brother/dog got DtD from there on some cheese last week - that should do it. If not, be polite and ask them to call HO for you to check.

An excellent question.. they can't get out of it there is no board. It is company policy so if they refuse, get them to call head office on 0800 505555.

Also there is often A5 mini policy laminate on each till. Refer them to this if needed.
I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

It's awhile since i've been 'accidently' mis-charged, but I have to struggle to surpress the smug look when I point out the blue sign that tells you about dtd, or the your mum/ brother/nan!!

I tend to stand in front of the board, looking dumb (not hard for me!) & play the innocent... ooh... I've just been reading when I've been stood here!!
    Love it!!

Have to get rid of oh first though.. he could never play poker!!

Planing a trip to a big store tomorow .. leaving him behind!!

Has it got a Direct desk? - in our store the blue sign is hidden in there and not at customer services :D

I tried this once at Tescos Canary Wharf. I had been overcharged for 10 oranges I bought (got put through as Grapefruits, overcharged by £2)

I eventually got the money back after argueing that they were infact oranges and not grapefruits which were something different, and then asked about the DTD, the guy said he didn't know what I was talking about. I pointed to the board behind him. He insisted on reading the whole thing:eek: Before turning around and saying "no, it doesn't apply to this store". By that time I had a long queue behind me and I just left. But if it were different and I hadn't been in such a rush, I would have asked to speak to the manager.

But just to note, the Canary Wharf staff really don't have a clue about Tescos policy on this IMO!
