No you are not reading the whole post. You got something for free thats fine .But why do you have to want more and get the manager who helped you into trouble. When you do things like that you make it harder for others to get Dtd.Accept what you got for free like others do and move on to the next glitch and stop being so greedy.

Why would the 'manager who helped me' get in trouble?
He was simply doing what he was supposed to do. I pointed out to him that the sirloin steak was advertised at a certain price and that I had been overcharged. He agreed with me and gave me DTD as he was supposed to do. It just so happened that the steak was advertised as being half price, but that it went though the till at full price - hence a full refund with DTD.
I'm not sure what's so confusing for you to understand?

Please stop implying that I'm greedy. I really take exception to this. I visited two stores near to my home to see whether they had any of the glitches that others had found and made the most of. Lots of people travel quite a distance to see if there are any glitches in stores that aren't even local to them. I have no problem with that. Good for them if they are able to find glitches. Every little helps...

There was no sirloin left on the shelf because I took the last pack. However, the fridge was stocked full of packs of bacon. I only took four because that was all I needed.*Sigh*

None of the steak was stickered in my store just a different price per kg on the pack.

The helpful manager would not get in any trouble, he was following Tesco's policy like they all should do!

And one steak and four bacons is hardly greedy... The complain could only help others get dtd without any problem in the first store next time if the stuff will be told off for not following dtd policy!

and what's the point of telling people to stop being greedy? everyone does what's right for them and only they can know how much they want/need and it's not for you to judge them...

NO sadly not priced at £76 & £67 respectively on SEL, so how they can class them as clearance is beyond me?? - but thank you anyway; would have been lovely!!
