Anyone in the North East area? I think this has to be the region that's the most on the ball...........or that's certainly how it feels at the minute!! There are rarely any DTD finds within 20+ miles of me. My local store is Durh*m, which is an extra, but I've yet to get lucky!
Well done to everyone who is having success. I'm gonna try remain positive for a wee while longer!
You are not alone... the Midlands area are really on the ball too. I've yet to get a DTD! I had my eye on a phone that finished its offer today, but this morning all the signs had been changed and were correct, darn it lol!0 -
For those that haven't gotten a DTD yet, don't give up hope. T Obe successful you have to put a lot of effort in so don't rely on just nipping into a store and coming out with hundreds of pounds worth of free stuff. The phones for example are store specific so you need to check when you stores offers are due to expire then go back in the next day and if the yellow label is still there, test scan and fingers crossed. There are items in my Extra that are half price but the SEL is a couple of weeks out of date. Still scanning at half price but I will have them some day!
And don't forget, not all stores carry the same stock. My Extra only got the Microsoft 3500 mice in recently and at that, only in pink. I bagged one at £7.97 then found out the following week the price should have been £35. They're now half price and the 1p ones (dark purple) are finally in stock but scanning at £17.
Oh and proof of how sleeked Mr T is ..... in early May I bought a retractable Babyliss hairdryer (the fuschia pink one you can't miss). Charged £19.97 and not on offer. Yesterday I spotted them selling for approx £25 which was a saving of £5 from their normal price. That really is disgusting, conning people into paying more for something that is 'on offer' than the price it was just a few weeks beforehand.0 -
Pink mouse scanned at £17something which was the same price as the purple mouse 2 days ago0

For all you fibro sufferers, I cured myself of a similar debilitating condition so please PM me if you'd like to know more. It was very money saving - just the cost of a book, about £6:D
Sorry, I know it's off topic but have to mention it. I got my life back thanks to the writings of an astute doctor. :j:j:j And I love telling anyone who'll listen.:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -
I have been a lurker for a long time. Its great to see everyone getting such good bargains. I am off work ill with fibromyalga so cant really do much at the mo. I did look at the weekend for DTD's but found non, boooo.
I really want to join in but my local T's always seem to be on the ball. Might have to go further affield. Anyone in the Norfolk/Cambridge area?
Hi,
sounds like you are close to me. I have CFS and Fibromyalga too. Hope you feel better soon. E*y are always on the ball unfortunately. When we have hospital apps in Cambridge I try and get to a Ts but I've not managed a DTD over a few pence yet. I'm a carer and Ive been so busy with DLA forms the last week or so I'm sure I've missed loads. got some catching up to do. Which Ts do you go to ?:)0 -
