Well, if you buy six, you get paid £1 to take them away, so your not really buying them, more earning £1 to eat them.....

I know but the point is I eat them:rotfl::rotfl:I tell myself they will save a fortune when we have people round then they just "call me" in the evenings when I'm sitting down. A little niggle comes into my head, remember those delicious puds you have in the freezer and I don't need much convincing to get one out. Trouble is I've got the biggest sweet tooth in the house and much as I try and force feed it to everyone it's me who eats most of it:rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Same store in North Worcestershire also had the sirlion steak signs out so PM me if you hink you might want some free steak and I'll let you know the store

So does it means there are packets of Sirloin steaks with the half price sticker on them or do u get dtd by telling them of the banner outside advertising the half price staek offer???
    thanks
  • Just stumbled onto this thread. Sorry I haven't time to read it all, but would like to ask what a 'DTD' is?

    Thanks

My local forgot to remove one of the posters advertising the half price steak so I bought some today but the best I could get from CS was a refund and then resold at half price. They said it was a different steak being brought in for the promotion.

It is double the difference, so if the shelf edge label says £10 and you get charged £25 they give you double the difference so in this case they would give you £30 as the overcharge is £15 doubled.

    Good luck

Signs still outside Watfo*d. Cs said only from butchery counter. I went and checked, took photo and went back, showed her the pic where it said pre-packed but unfortunately she couldn't see it until I stretched the pic to make it bigger! Big sigh, checked with someone and then refunded DTD without being asked! Whilst there a few other people got DTDs. One was for melons advertised at 1.00 but go thro at 1.50, Dentyl active is on bogof or 2 for 3.00 ( sorry couldn't quite hear) it was the blue one and went thro at full price. Same lady had Jointcare Glaucasomite (spelling?) that should have been 5.61 and on 3 for 2 but got charged 11 something each (ood sel) she also had two hosepipe attachments that weren't recognised (1p) but they wouldn't sell them to her as it's a health and safety issue!
