  • I've been reading this thread for about a week now & have been amazed at how well you guys do.

I've been wanting some new kitchenware for ages so when I saw all of the DTDs this week I thought I'd pay a trip to Mr T's today to see what I could get.

I visited 3 stores today & came away with a big fat 0! :( I ended up buying some crisps & choc that I didn't need instead.

Oh well, I'll just have to keep looking.

    Good luck to everyone else.

went to a couple of new stores today as was passing through on business, thought my luck was in when i saw a stack of prawns in one of them, until they scanned at the reduced price:mad:

seacroft extra in leeds had nothing a couple of items i didn't need so left (james martin pasta bowls in blue were horrible!)

everything pretty much marked up at normal price, no prawns to be found anywhere:eek:did one of you lot clear them out??

also i think i must be getting tight in me old age because unless its free or i'm in profit i'm not that interested:D

a few price change dates saved in my head-couple of phones for 14th-check on 15th, also 23rd seems to be a popular date and 4th sept for alot of phones and electrical

nothing for me today :( but I only visited one local store... Planning to ride three new ones tomorrow... I REALLY want a vax or karcher! Can someone post details/links of which ones are they? pretty pretty please :)

On the good side we finally found a new flat and all looks good :) Especially as my new kitchen is going to have everything we need thanks to mr T :) I only need a hoover, smoothie maker and maybe one more set of pots... :D
  • It's a bit annoying, our local store S**d**r*t has a new manager, and I have not had a good DTD or glitch, or even a penny item or cheap item, for ages! Anyone else having that problem there, or am I just being unlucky?

Hmmm George Foreman grill and a Russell Hobbs toaster?

I don't know if I can wait that long for a DTD. Found OoD SELs for various SanDisk memory sticks (Cruzer & SD card) but scanned correctly :(

Ooh I've seen these on a reduced shelf in my local, unfortunately they have whoopsie labels on so I'd think they'd scan correctly.
Is it the Mickey Mouse one with little sort of dots on (cartoony) ?
    Well done you !! :)
