My total for last weeks is as follows:_

4 James Martin Denby Sets £268.00 dtd
    2 Denby Sets £172.00 dtd
    2 BT phones £200.00 dtd
    2 Sabatier Knives £100.00 dtd
    1 Philips Phone £100.00 dtd

    Total £840.00 and counting!!

    :T
    That's fantastic!!

We are off to Tesco's soon, just getting the Munchkin fed first so she doesn't cry while we are there, as might be quite a while scrutinizing every SEL for expired ones!!

Thought about stragetically planning the trip, maybe me and the other half could spilt up whilst there and do half the store each.:rotfl:

But then will the OH co-operate or will I find him down the magazine aisle bored to death?

Haven't been to Tesco for about a week so it's very exciting for me. I sound like I have no life!!

Fingers crossed for the phones, really would like a set of phones as we only have 1 at the moment and when it rings when I'm upstairs it means running down the steep stairs to answer it before it stops ringing

After last weeks trip and the 20p Pepsi I am feeling enthusiastic over it, bring on the bargains!!:)

I am cycling to a whole new Tesco store tomorrow! I feel like Clint Eastwood riding into town... no cards marked... will I get the treasure (Denby/RSC pans)? Will I make enemies? Will I get the girl? :rotfl:

You shoudld set up a charity bike ride from Lands End to John O'Groats stopping off at every Tesco on the way - I would definately sponsor you and so would everyone else on this thread no doubt!

You would obviously have to get a bike trailer to store all your bargains.

    Just an idea.:)

That's only cool if you both have walkie talkies :D

When I go to car boots I see people on walkie talkies when there are two of them looking for bargains.
    Def an idea!!
But would the staff suss it out?:(

Went on a trawl of a few Edinburgh stores today. They had the items mentioned recently but they all scanned at the right price or had the SEL missing:(.

    On a good note though I did pick one of these up;

They were in a couple of stores but only one had them at £30.00. How can they justify a £99.97 price difference in two stores only a few miles apart:eek:.

    Part of the Furniture
Saw lots of the James Martin Denby Sets and Sabatier Knives today but there were no shelf edge lables at all for them so no good taking them through the tills. Tried the large box of Black Magic that were discussed a while ago but going through at £10.

Think you got lucky there, surely the deal should be save £30 in my store they always have the save bit written bigger than the new price.
Have you double checked your receipt if so well done you got a great bargain :):):)
