    Went on a trawl of a few Edinburgh stores today. They had the items mentioned recently but they all scanned at the right price or had the SEL missing:(.

    On a good note though I did pick one of these up;

    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-6162.aspx

    They were in a couple of stores but only one had them at £30.00. How can they justify a £99.97 price difference in two stores only a few miles apart:eek:.

    Woah!! Was that a dtd? If so, wow!!! :clap:

    If you are price checking your stuff as well, make sure these 18p tins go through separately as they are 68p :eek: at A!

    You shoudld set up a charity bike ride from Lands End to John O'Groats stopping off at every Tesco on the way - I would definately sponsor you and so would everyone else on this thread no doubt!

    You would obviously have to get a bike trailer to store all your bargains.

    Just an idea.:)

    Hehehe I love it - Charity DTD and Food Bank Glitches! ;) Although I did Land's End to John O'Groats last year, and it nearly killed me, so I might let someone else try it... Angelina-M? :T

    Not a very successful trip today - this store had dotted all its i's and crossed its t's. Denby was correctly priced, saw some Vax but didn't want to lug them to the scanner (and there was no way I could lug it home!), RSC pans correctly priced at £20 (for stainless steel set) and £40 I think for the non-stick. I had to console myself with 6 bottles of 2 for £10 Tesco Finest Wine with the 25% glitch and a backpack full of mini meals - all sorts, including the ravioli. Love it how they are advertised as "New!" on the can but are "Reduced to Clear" on the label! :rotfl:

    On the plus side, I did 40 miles on the bike which is great for the ticker...
    I am glad this store is not my local - I raise a glass to, and have a newfound respect for, the inefficient elves that work at mine! :beer:

    Yes they do, sometimes we have to remind the odd member of staff though. :D

  • Nice,

    So the knives scan @ £50 but SEL says £25 so you get £50 and the knives?

    If this is the case how come the staff dont run to the SEL straight away?

    They usually do, however you may be the first to get the DTD :)
