Thought I'd join the club... SO I bought 2 sets of stripped glasses with stickers on and matching mugs with stickers on, sel on both items had expired on the 7th, did not bother to scan as scanner is upstairs and not working, but damn they went through the reduced price!

I don't even like the glasses or mugs, my mum does and thought I'd give them to her, but at that price even she does not like them.

Can't you lovely lady's share some of your luck with a struggling single mum?
You need to buy the stickered ones 4 at a time the 4 for £3 deal doesn't kick in, if you buy 6 or more the 6 for £6 kicks in = no DTD.
Take them back for a refund and buy them again.

The sel said 6 for £6, the stickers said the same, the mugs same thing 2 for £2 stickers and sel the same.

Would love to take them back, but what do I say? 'erm excuse me, got home and realised that these don't go with the dinner set?'

Am normally very shy, but that won't get me anything, so soon as I come up with something reliable back they go.

They were labelled up correctly then so DTD wouldnt apply if they scanned as per SEL. you don't need an excuse to take them back, just go to customer service with them and the receipt and say you've changed your mind or are not happy with the quality, they'll refund you in full.

You want the stickers that say 4 for £3 they are the only one's.
This is a very old DTD so maybe worth you trying something else that's more current.
The 6 for £6 deal is the current right one.
An OOD SEL doesn't guarantee a DTD.
You don't need an excuse they process tens of refunds everyday.
But if you need one just say the truth your mum didn't like them.

Well I visited 3 T's stores today and only managed a set of 4 Stripe glasses and a small dtd on some baby cups. The brand is called Nuby and they had an OOD SEL which said 2 for £5 with a choice of 3 different styles. I chose a 6month+ and a 12month+, they scanned through at £3.05 each so i got £2.20 back making them £3.90 for the 2.
I then resigned myself to a night in front of the TV, not even able to enjoy the finest wine as i'm pregnant, at 10pm suggested a trip to a Tesco Extra to the OH who unbelievably agreed!! I've never visited this store before and all seemed correct until I found the Karcher with OOD SEL from 9/8/11 of £64.50, went through at £129 so free!!! It isn't one of the jet washers that I have seen at all the stores today correctly reduced, it is a steam cleaner for tiled floors etc. Got a full refund after some great excuses....'dtd doesn't count unless you've left the store'....'customer services is closed so you can't have refund'.....'you have to come back tomorrow'. I smiled sweetly and insisted on refund.
Also got some great things in the reduced gardening section, a Cast Iron Chimenea reduced from £49 to £12, hanging baskets 50p, terracotta pots 50p and loads of other things! Made it look less conspicious that i didn't realise the total was too high! xx
