I have been looking at this thread and am abit confused!! What does sel mean please? I am guessing something to do with a sales label. I can't understand how you can get dtd on the bt £159 price phones. Which pinklady (well done to u btw) says are £74.99 but when I open the link the phones are saying they cost £159.99.

Sel is shelf edge label so you have to look for an out of date sel.
EG £74.99 until 08/08/2011 on the 09th the computer put the item up to the higher price.

But when you buy it pay the higher price:D then go to customer services and act stupid saying you think you have been over charged and you didn`t notice until you moved away from the cashier, they will want to check the Sel, so go with them and see lower price then get double the difference =85.01*2 =£170.02

still no karcher/vax for me today saw them both today but correct sels there And I did 3 new stores!

however I got a nice golden dtd(well it goes back tomorrow...)
binatone quad phones sel 49.99 scaned at 104.99 and unsigned receipt
the staff at the store was really freaking me out... they acted like it was at least 100000GBP they were about to pay me... they were all very scared and didn't know what to do and were getting the numbers wrong all the time... gosh, I could do it for them in half the time! LOL

so I earned 109.99GBP for myself today and that should make up for me missing out on the vax/karcher :cool:

one more new store for me to explore tomorrow and if nothing there I will never get a vax! and I really liked it when I saw it today... anyone has a spare sel for it? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(only joking of course!)

I think so as it was a bthp yellow sel... Didn't really remember to look as I knew some binatone's were scanning at the higher price and I also checked on the price scanner before I took it to the till

Oh and forgot to say a guy in front of me got a great deal on salmon fillets today... He got 11 (:eek:) packs of them as they were reduced to 0.80GBP from 4.00 and also the 4for12 offer kicked in and the SA was puzzled as why he should give him 1.20GBP for taking the salmon away :rotfl:I told him to grab something for 1.20+ and run but the SA called the supervisor over... luckily the lady was great! she just zeroed the balance and said sorry we can not pay you any cash but there you go... and he went home with free salmon!

thanks i looked at the phones, but found them quite confusing so many different models, i did notice a couple of sels ending today so might be worth looking for out of date sels in the morning that havent been removed

Thanks for the info. I couldn't find any in my store but bought a Panasonic (2 phones) SEL £69.99 but was charged £99.99 so after DTD got them for £40!

The BT would have been much better but can't complain!

Went to 3 different stores across London today and couldn't find any ood sels and suspiciously not many of the dtds listed here actually had sels, even of the higher price!

I've been itching for some phones as my one's on the blink now and the karcher would come well in handy.
The search goes on....

YAY, I got the RSC sets today for free!! Bought 2 with my cousin, and gave one to him....the CS lady was lovely and even offered DTD without me asking.
