Yeah, want to know if the 25% comes off with 6 of the little bottles (purchased in store).

I think it does but I'm just checking that thread, it's really confusing me. I think its 2 for £3 then the 25% off kicks in, but just trying to work out what multiples you need to buy in

Ok heres the answer, 6 or over for the 25% off or buy the 3 for £10 or £12 that I assume is the big bottles.
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

as long as buy more than 6 then the 25% discount kicks in. Remember it kicks in on the price pre the 2 for £3 so i think people have been getting it them for just under £1 a bottle

Yeah, I bought 6 bottle of Jacobs Creek Cabernet Sauvignon yesterday. £2.59 per bottle (2 for £3 not advertised but coming off at the tills) and got 25% off the full price of £2.59 pre bottle, so with both discounts I paid £5.11 for 6 mini bottles, = 85p per bottle and equivalent to £3.40 per normal sized bottle, not bad at all.

I've been reading through the last couple of pages since I got DTD on some smoked salmon a few days ago... it's been a long time since I've been out looking for those DTDs!

Here's what I found on my travels:

Denby sets: found with a white SEL at £38 - scanner in store and they scanned at £38 so I left them.
BT Freelance 2-phone set - OOD SEL £39.99 (half price) - still scans in store at £39.99.
Young's King Prawns stickered at £3 (half price) on white SEL at £3 and go through at that price.

But... managed to find a Karcher Steam Cleaner SC1020 on OOD SEL £64.50 (half price) which went through at full price £129. CS tried to give back just the difference (nothing's changed there then!) but didn't object to the DTD when I pointed to their sign, and blamed the till!

    A good day then :rotfl:
  • I bought my children some Tesco Chocolatino choc ice thingys (like cheap magnums). They are £1.55 each and the boxes are marked at 2 for £2. When I got home (was a bit frazzled as shopping with aformentioned children!) I checked my receipt and the multibuy didn't come off.

If I go in tomorrow with the receipt and the box (printed with 2 for £2) will I get dtd back even though I didn't notice it before I left the store?

Gutted, went to T's all the JM sets have been replaced with bloody Jamie Oliver, no Denby, no RSC pans couldn't even see a place for any of these. no OOD sels on phones or hoovers, I do actually need a new plate set and phone.

Oh and forgot about the prawns til I got home,

Did manage to pick up some of the RTC chicken pasta tin things though.

    What's a golden DTD receipt? I'm intrigued?

It's when the CSA forgets to mark the receipt so you get the product for free and have the option to take it back for a refund (assuming you don't want it). There have been many past debates on the legalities and ethics of this practice, but I'm not sure that anyone really knew for sure.

If you are ever in this position though it might be better to return to a different store ;). Ooh, and don't use your clubcard :D

Have just sat down so apologies for not replying earlier. My golden DTD was only for a small profit and I only took the item back as I found a cheaper & better version of what I wanted. I was honest though as the receipt had been marked with the price I should have been charged so didn't try and diddle them for the price I was actually charged.

All this talk of knives etc has me wanting to go out. Done all the ironing so free to glitch the rest of the weekend!
