Haven't been to t's all week, three small children, running back and forth to self scanners, they draw too much attention to me! So no luck, and all the pod sells I scanned seemed to have been extended!
I did however get a bargain, buzz lightyear crayons and roller pens reduced to 25p loads in stock and almost as cheap as tesco value crayons, got loads for my sons party bags to make me look like a big spender.
Got to till, put everything through,,,,,,didn't have my bank card:mad:
I had to get the transaction parked so I could go get my other halfs card as he works a few mins away. Gutted doubly because we 'aren't talking'. Sat in the car for a few mins with kids quizzing me about why we'd left the shopping with the trout. Then it dawned on me that I did have on me a gift card from some dtding, a sainsburys voucher for £8 PFC £40 spend, a few lose coins and my safety tenner for emergencies in my sun visor, this left me 80p short, then I remembered I had a £1 scratch card in the glove box to collect. Bobs your uncle. My brain hurt!!! Phewy:TPlease don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
Anyone who has a stockpile of prawns - try this curry recipe - it's AMAZING! You need lots of spices/etc so a bit expensive to make the first time but if you make it a few times (and trust me, you'll want to!) then the mean cost will come down... especially with free prawns!

If I go in tomorrow with the receipt and the box (printed with 2 for £2) will I get dtd back even though I didn't notice it before I left the store?
Yes you should do.
I bought an airwick odour air freshner mini thing today- price on display £5.10. Had a £3 voucher off so thought £2 wasn't too bad for it. Was mythered with my little girl so didn't check my receipt. Went home and found I'd been charged £10.20 for it  How much for an air freshner? Went back, the lady checked the shelf and gave me £10.20 back so mr T paid me £3 to try it!
Also bought some silver point wine (£3.49 each, on offer 2 for £5 and then 25% off for over 6 bottles) so worked out about £1.80 a bottle. It's 8% but a nice drink!0 -
Spotted OOD SELs in two tescos yesterday and today on the Denby everyday range. It was only on the mugs in one store and plate/bowls in another. This was in the w.ave. store and upper b@&t store in case anyone from south Wales is looking for them?
I didn't get any would prefer the JM Denby set for free! If any one has any recommendations for good stores to visit in s.Wales for misprices it would be much appreciated as our usual stores are far too on the ball for my liking!0 -
Just back from T's and nothing at all, I think Czerchania (I know I spell it wrong but she knows who she is:rotfl:) had cleared them all out before me.:rotfl::rotfl: Anyway made do with the wine glitch and am just testing a bottle as I type of the Villa Garducci sparkling rose and rather delish it is too! The SS in Y*****g isnt working so everytime I wanted to check the price I had to keep going to the pharmacy counter and gave up in the end:(Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

Depends where you've been... I got 5 packs of prawns from "scary" Y and dtd given without asking and nearly a smile!
I saw the prawns in the new Y(I think) but left them especially for you! So don't tell me you didn't go there!!!
Anyway I so hoped for a good dtd day and nearly had it but this bl00dy store offers things at half price even if others charge full price! I had 2 brita kettles and a vax in my trolley, stupidly didn't bother with scanner and was charged the discounted prices at the till  had to go to CS and make some excuses to return it...I soo wanted the vax! but not for this price of course... they were all white sels but I hoped it was an error...
oh well... got some wine too...
Did 4 stores today and no pans or knives and even the frozen chicken scanned at half price! luckily my bf loves chicken... as I got 3 packs! And was thinking to get 10! :rotfl:
So I only got the prawns for free today and I think I need a "proper" dtd fix asap...
Are the denby sets back down again or not? Seen some white sels for cool blue, mushroom and black pepper but wasn't sure if I need 6th box of plates! :rotfl:0 -
Oh, could someone post some more details on the vax and karchers? pretty please
I am working on my bf to go to a T nearly 30 miles away!
LOL But it's a big one and I hope to find something there... Is there a really big T with lots of home/electrical items in W London area?
OMG I need a rehab I guess...0 -
I didnt go to new Y only "scary" Y and BB, I will try there tomorrow as am getting really desperate now for my DTD fix:rotfl::rotfl:Saw a girl in BB tonight who looked like she was checking out all the electrical and kitchen stuff and was so tempted to ask if she was a friend of Martins then bottled out:oShe so must have been. Long dark hair, was it you? Not too bad a day though as found out my PPI claim is being upheld on a loan from 2000 and by my reckoning it's about £3,000 being paid to me, hence the reason celebrating with my glitched wine:T Oh and now I'm really on the look out for a glitched hoover;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
