Anyway on a different point, I bought 2 kids plastic chairs and a table when they where reduced a few months ago, one chair broke straight away, the leg gave way, now the other chair has done it and the leg cracked, DD is only 2 so not heavy or swinging on it, she banged her head too, reckon its worth emailing HO?

Yup-always worth a punt. They can only say no is my motto.:D

Just a little point of thought . If you knowingly go into a store and buy a mispriced .. Lower value when scanned . it is a criminal offence... Just thought id point it out , just for info and i know I will get my head bitten off .

It is only if you knowingly pay for it at a lower price and you know it is a higher price..

EG You scan a Nintendo DS priced at £100 and it comes out the till at £1. You pay .knowing it should be 100 . Thats the criminal offence :$

I'd be interested to see you link to some evidence of that. As far as I'm aware, it's simply a case of "invitation to treat". The retailer asks for a price at the checkout, you pay it, the deal is then struck and valid.

Got another DTD on a crate of beer. Buy a crate of becks for £6 with a £30 spend. I was charged £12 without a discount, so I was given £12 back, and got a free crate of beer.

If you purchase the price at a lower price than advertised . Knowing what the advertised price is . Then it is a criminal offence.

Avocados with BOGOF SEL and stickers on both. Wasn't discounted at the end so will be returning later although bit embarassing as I work there.

Or it could be a clearance item.

The price has been reduced but the SEL not updated (so the the staff can get them all:rolleyes:)
I've had several reduced items like this. Rarely do they have a SEL.

How are we supposed to know if it's a mis-price or un-labelled reduction:confused:

    That is theft ..

Sorry but it is . As you knowingly paid the wrong price. Fine if the cashier put it through and you didnt notice .. bUT HERE THE THING IS knowingly ...:A

Again, you're wrong. It's not the customers job to ensure the items are priced correctly, it's the stores.
