The funny thing is that in early 2004/5 ish when tesco had just brought in the old policy of "if things don't add up, we'll give you your money back and you can keep the item"

This was a very bold move especially when they decided to advertise the very same policy on their TV ads!

It was when they had prunella scales as dottie, playing the mother of Jane horrocks, I think.

One particular advert saw her going to CS to complain she'd been overcharged and she got her refund. The advert ended with her rooting through various products actively looking at labels etc!

Now those adverts are viewable on YouTube but guess which one is not available anywhere?

After that Ad got aired, the whole R&R hunting began, they were basically saying "go on, see if you can find anything priced wrongly"

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

They could ban you from the store - oh noes!

I'd be a bit disappointed, but I'd get my life back (until I moved/went on holiday/weekend break/worked slightly further afield and went to another store...)!

Some of us are unfortunate enough to only have 1 with a reasonable distance, next one is 17 miles away, otherwise I'd be filling my boots! :rotfl:

I get well jealous when people say that they've got 5 (or more) close to them :(

Oh, I'm the same - one five minutes away, the next is a train journey away so I stick to the same store, checking out who is on CS as I walk in!

I'm going for a weekend away soon, so will be checking the local Tesco on my first day there! I've no qualms about going in there four days on the trot, as I won't be back for months.

I've got 6! :D:p some as far as 17 miles away but only a few miles from my work... went there extra on Saturday but was well worth it as I got the braun shaver

Anyway, on wednesday I intend to have a close look at the wine aisle... ;)

Just for a slight diversion, anyone visited www.thesun.co.uk lately? There seems to be something wrong with it. (snigger)
