all right then, no list :p I read all posts anyway :D

soo, I had a very busy day and visited 4 stores(took me 4,5 hours :o) and can consider it as mission completed today :D
i got 4 glasses(just for the sake of it really - nikkilala: yie****y removed stickers, but Yead**g has them now :D ), 2 boxes of megablocks(I've found 4, took two and misplaced the other two with stickers so whoever is keen on them and the new Yie****y is their local pm me and I'll tell you where to find them :D nikkilala? I got dtd but had to remind the lady about it and she got a bit grumpy but didn't argue with me LOL)
AND I got braun 3 series 340 shaver too :j :j :j thanks to the person who posted about the other shaver, I totally forgot about this section and never checked there... So today I've found a sel which expired on 30/06  and after asking for dtd they gave it to me so I paid 1p for the shaver :D
I left the store as quickly as I could and won't be going back for long time as I'm sure they noticed me... :o I scanned about 20 items there including a microwave :eek::eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
lots of toys with half price stickers scan at half price so just the megablocks are a good find for now...

I'll be back to some stores on the 18th as lots of sels expire the day before... I want a kettle/toaster or other things for my kitchen still mr t :rotfl:

Fab, Well done very good day for you, worth the 4.5 hrs:TGoing to drop the DS off to a party soon then nipping to BB to see if any phones, looked the other day but think I was looking at the wrong thing!
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • It would seem that Mr T has sussed us, and IS withdrawing DTD. It has already been pulled on price checker, with a bit of blurb about how some savvy people have been deliberately buying things from them, knowing they were cheaper at Mr A, and claiming the DTD.

I agree with Adam and thelurch, but I can also understand how frustrating it may be for other people that want bargains and don't have a scanner in store. This is why I was frustrated yesterday because my t has no scanner and I have been making an effort to try to understand how to find bargains without a scanner in store only to feel like I'd got the whole idea wrong yesterday. But, as usual, it was tesco who was wrong.

    :D

The 3 most local stores to me do not have any price scanners, as I said, there are various ways of knowing what an item will scan at without having to commit to purchase it.

I haven't checked this myself yet, but a friend told me that she bought a pair of childrens sunglasses this morning, with a sel of £1-25, but they went through the till at 25p. (This was in a Tesco Express). She then went back and bought 10 more pairs and they also went through at 25p per pair.

I will have a look tomorrow and report back!

    Found them!!:j
They were hanging on a strip and priced at £1, pink ones and blue ones, and sure enough they went through the till at 25p.:T
    Barcode for blue ones 5052003793088
    Barcode for pink ones 5052003793101

These glasses also have UV 100% protection.

Have been getting the "Yali Winemakers Selection Sauv/ Blanc 75Cl" as it has an extra 150 points. it was £4.99 a bottle but has gone upto £6.99 over night.

The SEL this morning still stated £4.99 but was charged £6.99. got the last two bottles so £8.00 DTD

    .... oh and 300 points :j

Just to clarify my earlier post above..

The SEL was still in date 19/07... looks like HO upped the price without informing stores, well at least my one anyhoo...

That's been there since the demise of the online DTD price check. Not the same as the store DTD policy.;)
