I agree. If I can't get it for 50p anywhere, I'll go back to normal bottles until the price drops again. Disappointing the JugIt can't be used for juice in the meantime - it'll have to go in storage.

i have brought a fair few at 50p and froze them !!

Not too sure if this is the right thread, and a bit too pushed for time to locate the right thread if this is not... Sorry!
    Anyhow,
Went to Tesco last night bought varying bits including the £5 meal deal
Including Pasta carbonara, strawberry cheesecake and cheese topped garlic bread slices. The £5 didn't kick total £8.95 in so off i trot to CS, got £3.95 difference not DTD, i Claimed isn't it supposed to be DTD? which i was barked at "no, doesn't include multibuys" So i mutter under my breath (know them too well in there to cause a scene lol) we'll see what tesco helpline say about that;). Proceeded to ring helpline this morning and got "I am so sorry about that Mrs X, will a £5 giftcard be acceptable on top of the £3.95? and we'll contact the store so in future they know that dtd is dtd on all overcharged items, Me- Yes that would be lovely thank you!:rotfl:
Anyway... As the sa said, there seems to be 2 types of garlic bread, exactly the same packaging except one has MEAL DEAL written in top corner. This has happened to me a couple of times, specifically pick the one without meal deal written on, if they are in the same fridge and hopefully the £5 wont kick in.
    HTH someone :)

sorry if this is not the right place... need to return some clothes from when the childrens half price flash sale was on.... just noticed it says i only paid £51.91 on my invoice.... yet my credit card statement clearly shows i was charged £52! I know its only 9p... BUT im really annoyed! Means when i get my refund i wont ACTUALLY be getting refunded exactly what i paid.... AND if they "only" overcharged say 1000 people thats £90 extra. Not happy!

BBQs back up to £25 in HUddersfield Rd Tescos ~ I left 2 on the shelf last night and they were still there but had been moved to the front so I guess someone else had price checked them before me!!!!!
Should I have cleared the shelf ;last night hmmmmmm???

Out of date SEL if anyone is interested
Next to the gas BBQ's is a 2 ring gas camping stove
SEL says 1/3 off £50 down to £33
Scans at £50 so after DTD you could get this for £17 ish
    Offer ended in June
At least 2 left on the shelf !!

    HTH

just got back from tescos after spending an hour at customer services.

we saw a telly on display with a small yellow label attached to shelf underneath saying £299 reduced from £379, £329.

it was a samsung telly so went to get one off main shelf at end of an isle with a large £80 off hanging overhead. did have label at £379. we assumed it was same one because of £80 off hanging overhead.

went through till and was charged £379 so went to customer services to telly them the display model had wrongly labeled at £299. they refused to honour first by customer service, then by checkout supervisor. they tried to refund but coop bank would not do it.

after standing there for about an hour (we did not mention any double the difference due to error with refunding anyways(

we rang our bbank direct and they said money still sitting in our account so tesco unable to refund us but we have had to walk out of store with no telly and no technical refund because tescos could not do a refund until they had received money, so we have to go in tomorrow to complete transaction.

what should we do i feel abit weird having a receipt for a tely for £379 and going in tomorrow saying please cs person give me a refund for a telly you did not give me and if it doesn;t work then keep going in until they can complete the tgransaction.

i was hopeing to get a telly or double difference or something but we will end up with no telly, a refund when they can get round to it and we hvae had to stands at cs for an hour to then not be able to go out and get a telly somewhere if we find one as can't use bank now as monehy ios lost in tescos banking system as they can't do refund until they have officially receive it?

should we complain to head office because of their stupid bnanking systgem - we have no physical cash now to get a telly if we want to has it is stuck in black hole ?

thanks to you experts out there.

Was the tv that went through the till the same one as the one that was on display with the reduced price?
