IIRC I used clonezilla few years back when I'd left my UBDC, (with GParted), disk at home and it worked OK. It seemed a bit more difficult to use but, to be fair, I'd never used it before.johncolescarr wrote: »I use clonezilla.

If you use Clonezilla, watch it very carefully. One of the underlying tools that it uses (partimage IIRC) has a bug in it that means that sometimes it will skip a partition, not backing it up, but not generating an error message either.
This happens with an XFS partition on my most heavily-used PC, and I can't find a way around the problem - other than using something else to back it up.0 -
