Poppycat reported my message as advertising. Even though I am not selling anything. They even removed the link to the property networking group I run. This was not even my website and is not for profit. Doesn't even cost you to come along. It was posted in the best interest of anyone interested in property investment. It is not a sales pitch to any other event - just a networking group.

If you want to view my blog (s) with photos and info about how I make money through property, etc. you can click on my username (sukey13) and then click on view my homepage.

Apparently it is OK to recommend other people's blogs just not your own. Seems daft I know.

I was only trying to help people that seemed interested in making money.

Just to clarify what happened here, Judi quite correctly hid the thread while it was looked at by the abuse team. It was decided that it was OK to stay removed. But this afternoon when it was referred back to us, I had a bit more time and was able to reinstate it and tidy up the links.

Sukey13 - I appriciate your comments about links to homepages, but we do have very strict rules about linking to them. If we start making exceptions or get into grey areas it is very difficult to make decisions between what is allowed and what is not. To make things fair for everyone, we simply have to say "No linking to personal websites on the forums".

Hope that clears things up a bit. Just one last point, it's best to email us at [Removed by Forum Team] with questions like this, as we will see it much quicker than if the question is posted on the forum.

    Kind Regards

And one final thing that I will add.

I did e-mail [Removed by Forum Team] about where the thread had gone. They were EXTREMELY polite, helpful and efficient at getting back to me and in the end the thread was reinstated minus the links.

I think everyone is happy now!

Thanks Judi and MSE ForumTeam1!!!

Thanks for explaining this, I was rather upset last night by a certain comment from a user which looks like it was removed now. Okay I think the matter should be closed and lets get back to saving, tips etc. Thanks all :)
