loubie-lou, where are you located? We might be able to make some recommendations if they know where you live, if London I have some ideas!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

    big deep breath!

Phone up the agencies. Ask about your case and whether the lack of referrals is because the job market is slow at the moment or because employers are not asking for the skills that you have. If it's the former then ask them what sort of jobs are moving at the moment and whether you can widen your net and be considered for these other jobs. If it's the latter then ask them how they think you could improve your CV - get some skills etc. You've got the chance to do some adult learning while you are waiting for a new job. Most courses have reduced or nil fees for unemployed. If you do pursue new skills then let the agencies know that you are taking additional training and make sure it gets put on your CV/file.

If you hassle them enough then they'll make more effort to get rid of you!

    hope it goes well. Tondella

LL, the job market can be a little quiet at the moment as eveyone (who works an April financial year for budgetting) has already spent their budget and are waiting for new budget to spend!! Congrats on your current role, but keep looking as more jobs should be coming round soon.

Good luck - any luck with ACAS??
