Do you find it'll even let you online even though you've not topped up?
I just bought two, and both of them will let us online without us ever putting any money on them...

This sounds too good to be true! Are you sure that you didn't buy prepaid ones?
Or did the price include an allowance?Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

A lot of the "starter packs" include an allowance to get you started. You probably have the 3gb starter stick, which includes 3gb of data to be used within your first 3 months
DavidWhat shall I put here?

I bought a prepaid 12gb dongle last September, and am very happy with it.
It can be slow sometimes, but the freedom from contracts, direct debits, registration etc, makes it more than worth it.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

You will receive a bill for any usage used over your allowance and i think its 10p per mb or something like that, i know this because my daughter has one0 -
If you get prepaid one, you cannot exceed your allowance because it will stop working when you have used it up. If you have not registered or taken out a contract and given them your details, they can't send bills or take money from you.
I would only ever get a prepaid one.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
