*groans* - oh you daft thing! We' ve all been there though - bet you don't do THAT again!
OK - having done a bit of money shuffling this evening and the savings payments having transferred, I have now updated my signature to confirm that we have hit our savings target for the year! :j I'm really pleased, as with buying MrEh's car in the middle of the year, and then having to do the insurance for both cars together, I didn't really think we stood a chance!
The challenge savings have also had a boost - there was another £5 to transfer from the bingo, and the refund came back from British Gas too (halleluiah!) - along with an additional £10 which they have presumably added to it as a compensatory gesture. Very good of them.
Bit of snow here today - enough to make the journey to work interesting. Managed to make it in on time though unlike my slightly dozy colleague who, by his own admission, had no more than a sprinkling of snow in London where he lives! My boss didn't make it (which meant he greeted me on the phone this morning by saying "Good morning! Lightweight here!" and we've been teasing him about it all day!) but the rest of the staff did. We started closing up at just after 3pm as it had started re-freezing then and we figured the roads were going to start getting lethal again - I managed to get away just before 4pm thankfully. Getting home earlier meant that I was able to get the rest of MrEH's pressies wrapped before he got back.
We're heading into London tomorrow to go the Christmas farmers market at Borough - really looking forward to it as it's always a good day out. Must try not to blow the budget on tasty foody bits though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

i made it to a local office today rather than my normal work place, but left early with a dodgy tummy Yuck!
spent the afternoon turning the living room around, now just have to get used to it, which will take some time as i'm not the type of person who likes changing furniture around.0 -
Ahh, I'm envious now then, as I AM the sort of person who likes changing furniture around, but our flat really only has one place anything can go in each room! Are you a bit warmer tonight LT? Hi Essex :j
Have been slowly but surely working my way through your diary! Think about half way there! Can't believe never 'found' you before *subscribes*, will be picking your brain about the Islands soon x0 -
All sounding good I'm glad to hear.Haven't had snoe here,thankfully.0

Hi EH
Can't believe I only found your diary today - just sat and read the lot

Only slightly scary moment was when that same hero got bashed into by one of the Danish riders in the semi-final and things turned a bit nasty - we ended up with about 20 security guards in front of us all tooled up with Lead pipe, riot shields and CS gas! Thankfully everything calmed down without incident, but it was a bit hairy for a while.
That was a great weekend!! Company wasn't bad either
All booked up for Torun in June and hoping to do Bydgoszcz again in October0 -

:hello: It really was, wasn't it - if a bit scary at the point mentioned in the bit you quoted! MrEH and I are planning to go back to Bydgoszcz next year - that and Cardiff will be our two for the year.
Last eBay bits wrapped and ready to go in the mail tomorrow - need to keep nagging MrEH to get the transfer of Paypal money done now.
Credit card bill is in and not anywhere near so bad as I thought. £71 is MrEH's expenses and another £47 is from the car account for my breakdown cover (and has already been transferred in from the car account). The remainder is diesel for both cars, plus a few joint spend christmas presents, and thankfully will be covered out of what is in the account. MrEH should get paid early but we need to make sure we leave that untouched until it "should" be there.
:j:j Just opened my emails to find one from my old car insurance company to confirm that the claim from June is now settled and does not affect my NCB! Fingers crossed this will also mean I can now get the excess paid back to me! :j:j🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

_pale_ Note to self - take time to read posts properly, LT said tummy Yuck, not tummy tuck :rotfl:
Hope you're feeling better.
Have a good day EH, don't forget theA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Eh, your make up a month thingie is going well. With your savings target was it to replace what youd already spent on a car then?
Well the Turkey lesson, was a good one. This morning noticed a bin bag had gone, I think the local foxes had found the turkey. So really I was supporting local wildlife, nope I can't get away with that excuse.:pDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
