Thanks! Most ads don't annoy me to the extent that I want to strangle myself - but they've been telling us for 2 years now! That's more than enough!

I hate those ads. If they've always wanted to be Aviva, why has it taken them 200 years to change their name?
It hardly instils confidence.0 -

I think part of the concerns on Chrome is that Google themselves seem to invade ones Privacy. From Iron's site:

I Currently use firefox as my main browser but also have opera installed which is useful sometimes. I've used all versions of IE, chrome, All versions of firefox for the last 2 years, and opera. old IE with its security risks were aweful so I went to firefox. I kept using it because of the add ons and all the ways it can be customised. Googles chrome was just too simple and It gave me no reason to leave firefox. Opera has nice features but again too basic for all my needs. Firefox has ALMOST as much compatibility as IE, where as the others don't . So it has the Advantages of IE but no disadvantages.0

Some of that stuff is pretty useful though. The updater for instance so that you always have the latest version. That's always good for security. And the error reporting is good too. If Iron never receives any error reports, how do they know what to fix?Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

Ok, got it working now but Kaspersky really doesn't like it at all and is flagging every thing it does with warnings!
Seems to be more hassle than it's worth.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
personal call - what sort of warnings are you getting - working like a dream for me.
