I think it's against policy to self-promote however I will put a link to it in my profile if you want to have a look.0 -
When I registered a website (for the email side, due to my ISP migrating to MS Exchange which I consider unsecure) I added a Wordpress blog. I post two articles, but forgot about the site and concentrated on building-up my long-running Blogspot blog instead.
Amazingly, the Wordpress blog has actually attracted more comments over the last year than the blogspot one. May be it is because my posts are about stuff that affects a load of people so shows-up in the search engines better. I need to look at setting-up an add-stream for the Wordpress site and keep the articles up to date.Never Knowingly Understood.

It may be that by default Wordpress is more search engine friendly. Look into the headings tags on your Blogspot blog - by default the h2 tags are assigned to widget/sidebar plugins and h3 are given to post titles. Try assigned h2 to post titles and give a lower tag to anything you do not regard as seo important. Hope this makes sense.0 -
I've ran a few experiments with Blogger and Wordpress writing 350 word articles about technology products and I find Wordpress seems to rank slightly better even although they're both PR9 sites and highly thought of by Google and the main search engines. Why? I don't really know, it might be do to the coding and that it's easier to dissect for the programmed Google bots.Lao Tzu - "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime"

How is everyone getting on? Had a bit of a drop from when I last posted this, but its slowly picking up back! Winter months are normally the busiest.
Was considering to sell the site, but I can see it doing well over that I predicted!
Willing to help anyone as always. The changes I made to my SEO and ad placement are working wonders on one of my sites so far this month. £17+ already and still have 8 or so hours left (Google runs on American Timing)
If you're just starting off and not getting any where, dont give up!0 -

That's really good! I tried blogging once with adsense but never managed to make it over £5 a day. I think my best ever month was £100 :j
My traffic went down suddenly earlier in the year though and I went down to less than £10 a month so I kind of gave up on it.
Could you make a living off it eventually?0 -

Your Adsense earnings are excellent and it's something I might incorporate with my blogs in 2013. I make decent earnings with Amazon and other affiliate programs, but it might be worth having a few Google ads to help increase my online income.Lao Tzu - "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime"

I know the feeling, down give it up. Google changed their algorithm and people lost alof of traffic. Try Adding more unique content and see if that helps.
Could you make a living off it eventually? - Yes you could, just depends how hard you work.0 -

Oh really? I just kind of figured I'd fallen out of fashion with the search engines
I was thinking about starting a new one - would it be better to do that or go back and try and revitalise the old one?0 -
