Ooooh a nice new shiny thread!
Had my large MrT delivery yesterday and he arrived 15 mins late. Now I know it was raining but there was no apology from the delivery driver. I phoned the customer services helpline and they said they'd refund me the £5 delivery charge as a gesture of goodwill - should think so too!
Have already spent a fair bit of Mays budget (I run 22nd to 21st), but I have planned our meals for the next few weeks. The 3 children are now on packed lunches so I've stockpiled juice cartons and crisps, also lots of bread in the freezer.
Had an impromptu bbq at the weekend which meant a visit to MrT in person. Always a bad move as I spot things that I wouldn't think of when ordering online (including beer and wine :rotfl:). I'm going to try baking more biscuits/cakes this month as well.
Good luck for May everyone, and thank you MrsM and everyone else who helps to set up this thread. You are all stars.....:A

Yippeee - May up already so I have updated my spends from Asda and Lidl.
Only special offer I can think of mentioning from Asda was some Lake District cheese, 400g packs at 2 for £3:j Picked up 4 packs as we use a lot of cheese - hope it's of use to some of you.
Off now to make a nice salad sandwich for Lunch using some Radishes I've picked from the Garden - the only thing I have ready so far but at least it's a start.:p
Dinner tonight is a HM Chicken Pie, salad potatoes (49p from Aldi) and peas and sweetcorn.
Have a good day everyone.:D"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

Please may I join in?
I am aiming at £60 per week, which is a lot compared to many, but I need to try and bring down my spending. WC Wed 29 April.
This is for me, dear heart, and little bear. Evil cat is on special food, which I have accounted for elsewhere in my alleged budget.

I have kinda lost the plot over the last couple of months. Not overspent too badly - I am about £80 over from where I would like to have been at this time against my annual target of £2800 - so will be trying hard to get back on track over the next couple of months.
Which, of course, is why I am making an effort to come back and post here this monthThat, and the fact that it isn't quite so manically busy at work anymore....
Anyway, could you put me down for £2800 annual target, please ? That is £225pm plus £100 for Christmas, in theory, and what I have been trying to stick to, with more or less success, so far.0 -

I known I said no more tesco but I have 2 x £10 vouchers to be used before end of May and seems a shame to waste them .
I think I might do a online shop and try and stock up on things that will keep and then can do another towards end of month.
Ummmmmmm will have to find somewhere to HIDE the biscuits :rotfl:
So if I did a Tesco this week and did a Iceland in 2 weeks times............would only need to buy bread , milk and meat in between .................sorry just thining aload lolTOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0 -
Hi
I've been looking at this challenge for a while, but haven't taken part yet.
Now this is a terrible admission but I have NO IDEA how much we spend each month or even week on grocerys. So for this month, from May 1st, I'm going to save all of our receipts and then hopefully for June i'll be able to post a target  or maybe for 2nd two weeks in May.
Lots of love, good luck to everyone
