    In fact, I got a bit fed up of waiting for him to mention it, so I did. I gave him an easy get-out clause in case he'd changed his mind, but he was really quite enthusiastic about it. And he's been in touch lots over the last few days, completely unprompted by me.

    He said he hasn't seen his shift pattern for next week yes, but once he does, he will suggest some days/times.

    I hope he means it and isn't just fobbing me off - but he seems genuine.

    Are you still doing RFL Sammy? I briefly considered not doing it, but I'm not going to be scared off doing something that means a lot to me by some idiot man.
