I know you weren't hunny :) I wasn't offended - I will possibly be driving anyway so wont be able to drink at all, but that still leaves me with the same problem lol.

Can you have sparkling water? Or is it the fact it's carbonated that throws the diet out? It just says 'plain water' in the book.

carbonated is okay... it's the citric acid in the mixers that is the issue i think........

drive, yes, definitely a good idea....

test out your tolerances in weeks 3/4 maybe to see if you can drink and not fall down but Pap is right, some people have major medical doodahs when in ketosis... now *that* would not look good in front of CAG...!

I didn't drink while doing it.

I would have soda water...yum yum...I love it...

However contrary to reports the CD seems to have had the complete opposite effect on me when it comes to alcohol...I am no longer p$ssed after two drinks.....:p

sorry just read back, and I don't mean to be flippant about CD and alcohol....I really mean it when I say my tolerance to alcohol has changed.

I really could not drink anything previously without getting seriously drunk. It was almost like I had an alcohol allergy. It affected me really badly...

But now I do drink (on occasion) but I just feel like I suspect most 'normal' people do when they have had a drink. I can no longer drink white wine either......(strange!)

I'm not planning on cheating on a regular basis, but I can't miss out on a date with a sexy medical professional for the sake of losing a few pounds!

    (I'll just....*cough*.....exercise it off maybe..... ;))

Yes, a run would be great exercise.....:rotfl:

    But....but.....my ankle.....!!

It will have to be something a bit less high-impact! :D

Are you still doing RFL Sammy? I briefly considered not doing it, but I'm not going to be scared off doing something that means a lot to me by some idiot man.

I am mentally prepared for him to 'accidentally' be in the park that day with his new girlfriend and his son. I will [STRIKE]grit my teeth[/STRIKE] smile and wave as i run past looking [STRIKE]fooked[/STRIKE] glamorous and serene.
