What's the deal with 3? I thought I saw something about getting paid to receive calls......I'm sure there's something that wasn't in the ad though!0

EasyMobile is not that good idea at all. You will not be happy when you see your top up going down automatically by 75P for top up charges and even when you top up on the internet they will charge you 25P for that as well.
The other annoying thing is that they start sending you text and email messages that your balance is low when your balance goes just below £5. These text messages and emails start falling in so extensively that you feel as if your are being pushed to sign up for their auto refill service.
The main drawback is that you have to be registered with your verified address details to start using this PAYG mobile service By registering address details and by allowing the user to slip into negative balance they can create the situation in which the user have the restrictions or cons of a contract mobile phone while paying call charges of a PAYG phone.
I would say that if you want to enjoy the freedom of PAYG service then do not join easyMobile. You have the danger of slipping into a negative balance and at the same time you are bound to pay at least a certain amount every month to keep on using the service. So where is the freedom of PAYG? Otherwise what is wrong by having a free new phone and free calls by choosing from a lot of nice offers around at present?
By the way are you feeling the bitterness of a not so easyMobile customer in the background?0 -
I would recommend Virgin mobile, If you register your Virgin mobile phone with them then after you have spent £100 credit over a year or 2 then they offer you a £10 discount off of their phones on the https://www.virginmobile.co.uk website.
Also if you want to upgrade they offer sim free re-conditioned phones on the website for a snip of the RRP.
Also text's between Virgin mobile users are only 3p.
I have been with Virgin PAYG for 4 years now and would highly recommend them.

Anyone else had any experience with Easymobile or Fresh.

I am on Fresh, no problems at all. You can now top up on the web as well, and by sending an sms message, although this way of topping up will cost you 10p. The only downside is not being able to check your balance without calling an 0870 number which will cost you 15p i think. Other than that, you cant beat the 15p a minute calls and 5p texts.0

But only if you top up by £15 a month, every month, basically turning you into a contract customer, without the benefit of a free phone chucked in.0
