I just signed up for this:
    www.buymobilephones.net / tmobile / 18 month contract @£25pm
~~full 18 month line rental refund by redemption~~
300 mins/300 texts/tmobile booster for free unlimited internet
I chose a nokia 2680 slide phone (alternative phones on this offer are nokia 2330/2323/1208/1661)
AND remember quidco for an extra £25 cashback!!
If 300 minutes isnt enough for you, then theres a 18 month tariff at £30pm with 600 minutes + 500 texts + free internet, which again qualifies for the full 18 month line rental discount
    http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobile-phones/Nokia/Nokia-2680-Slide-Free-Line-Rental-Discount/8,22441

Year after year Ive been taking offers like these and I cant remember the last time my mobile actually cost me any money, but be careful cos these redemption offers are only any good if you are organised enough to remember to send back your paperwork every fourth month or so. Good luck :-)

How reliable are they for the cash back payments, better or worse than phones4U?

    found this http://www.e2save.com/mobile-phone/contract/nokia/Nokia-2330-Clearance.html?PHPSESSID=fc8hvmasi9un9lqg4o68p4flk1

Nokia 2330, 600 mins unlimited texts for effective monthly cost of £7.50 with Orange, if that is any good to anyone.

Hi, I don't want to sound like a total puddin' but does the phrase

Offer: 18 months free by redemption

refer to the fact that the contract costs in actual terms £7.50 a month after cashback has been received??

I only ask because I have been with the same company for over 12 years and have now ended my contract.

So it's a long time since I have to look elsewhere, so I am not up to speed in the quagmire that is now the mobile phone market. TIA

MM30: ive never used phones4u so cant compare. I have in the past used carphone warehouse, e2save, buymobilephones and one other co that i cant recall the name of and (having always sent the paperwork in on time, clearly marked and with a covering letter) ive never had a single payment refused or missing in the post etc. . ps.nice avatar! is she dancing with my avatar... would like to think so ;-)))

Pollsdolls: whats wrong with being a pudding! :-)
If the number of months in your contract is more than the number of months of line rental that you can reclaim in cashback then there'll be a few months of line rental that you will need to pay out for.
Split that cost over the whole contract term and you'll end up with an effctive cost, which is £7.50 in your case. hope that helps.
I admire your loyalty...12 years without switching, wow!
