For years now I have gone from one contract to the next with free handsets and 100% free line rental (cashback by redemption).
With my latest contract ending soon I was hunting out the next deal but can't find any :(

Will be a sad state of affairs if I have to start paying for my mobile contract....

Anyone know of any deals about?

There are a few deals showing for mobiles.co.uk or mobiles2your door that offer 12 and some 11 months free on a 12 month deal and going via quidco could cover that final month - samsung j700 or u600i on vodafone;)
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Not quite true. There haven't been any 100% cashback deals on Mobiles.co.uk since the Autumn of last year.
  • I'm struggling to find a good deal also... if anyone could post any good Nokia deals here I would be very grateful!!

Last year I got a 12 month contract with Vodafone, 700 mins, 250 texts for £40 per month through Mobiles2yourdoor who offered £400 cashback by redemption. Went through Quidco getting £30 cashback meaning it worked out at £4.17 per month in total. (Will be virtually free when I recycle my old phone and get £40 for that!)

Can't find anything which comes close this year, everyone seems to be offering playstations and things instead of cashback... is this the end of the cashback by redemption deal?

I can also add that Mobiles 2 your door were fantastic to deal with, sent confirmation text messages and I received my cheque within 10 days every time... shame they seem to have stopped doing this type of deal!

There were better deals than the one you got; now they are extremely hard to come by and the best dealer by far (the one you used) has very disappointing deals at present. The current deals are with smaller dealers and therefore higher risk (and with very basic phones) so you have to know exactly what you're doing and who you're dealing with. Whether they are worth the risk is to be decided by each person. If you have a look round it isn't that hard to find the best at any given time. Put on here there would be even fewer - if any - though.

I am the same situation as you, just coming to the end of a Phones4u 12 month cashback deal in a couple of weeks time and can't find any decent deals on phones4u, m2yd or dialaphone. I have used OSPS in the past and had no problem getting my cashback, but others are now having problems with the CPW group of companies. I am reticent to try any of the other cashback companies, so am opting for the moment to go PAYG on 3 as you get free voicemail, texts, 3-3 calls and internet and only need to top up £5 every 90 days, plus free Skype and MSN. I purchased a 3G phone which will be paid for from the sale of my existing phone.

I had problems when e2save took over OSPS cashback payments so dont use CPW group anymore. Last year I went with a company called Beepy Mobile but went for the less riskier Instant cashback. That paid out a lot less than normal cashback but got the money no problem. They are still trading and have some decent deals. It is riskier going with these smaller companies but recently I have gone with Buymobilephones.net. Tocco Lite on 18 month Tmobile contract 700 mins and unlimited texts for £30 a month. 16 months cashback by redemtion plus £25 Quidco means if everything goes to plan, a total outlay of £35 or £1.94 a month. The phone was unlocked and sold on Ebay for £75.
Airhostess - they do Nokia phones, some with 18 month cashback on above contract.

Just looked at this deal - it is there - select the phone from the top left drop down, then change the More Gifts drop down to Line Rental Discount. Finally, click on Internet Plans and scroll down.
