I live at home with my parents at the moment so all i have to pay is my board and a few other outgoings, internet etc.

I have left over around £700 - 800 and honestly don't know where it all goes, i need to stop wasting it and saving much more than i'm doing at the moment. Hopefully after Christmas i'll be able to keep a better track of things.

I have about £3-400 left after rent, food, fuel, insurance, IPO. Don't know where it all goes though! I know £100 of it goes to my dad for the money on the car. The rest sort of disappears through holes in my pockets :(

I will have £100+ left at the end of this month, after presents, two tyres for the car, etc, so guess I have done fairly well this month. Although I havent been out much.

This is a very interesting thread as I am SE I don't have a clue how much I'd have left at the end of the month as my income varies week by week...I'm trying to pay most of it to my credit cards plus save some to cover tax etc..but I know I used to waste loads of money eg..I used to spend about £100 p/w on shopping but at the moment as I've got loads in...it's averaging £30 p/m...what a saving
  • After the direct debits, but before food, petrol, tax etc. we have £320/month,but at the moment due to no overtime at all,we have £25 left after DDs,this is causing us a problem at the moment as we have had no money for food etc.things will be back to normal after christmas.

  • We don't have anything left!!! Every single penny is budgeted for at the beginning of the month.

We do include in the bidget £80 'spending money'. That's for 4 of us, for little bits and bogs not in the budget, kills us if we all want to go and do something, but drastic times call for drastic measures!!
