Sorry you're feeling rotten Rose big claps for Mr Rose :T :T I was just saying earlier that you're doing so well with your washing up. What a shame that you've hit another downer. Hope you feel better soon. :)

No, not size 15, but y'never know when someone's going to be really upset with what you've said, and feel as if you've just stomped on them with size 15 feet. :o
Thanks, it's nice to be able to go into the kitchen and see the worktop and cooker!
I always feel rough after being ill physically. I can't work out why, but it always hits me like a brick wall. I'll be ok. Just going to take it bit by bit.

Thanks for your kind messages Daydream and Poohbear.

I too am a fan of Gene Hunt. Valli, did you enjoy the sauna scene in this weeks Ashes to Ashes?

    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

I did this on Tuesday, so can post with a clear conscience despite not doing any flying today!

Quite a good day today at work, as the really awful Year 9's were either absent or truanting. I was quite happy to send the work home with a letter and a detention for the time missed. Guess they'll learn eventually....

Off to make stirfry for dinner...

    Hugs all round.

My dad saw the consultant last night who's happy with how the operation went. We won't know for a while how good the sight he now has it but it's better than it was. Thanks again for all your kind thoughts. Hugs to everyone xx
mudders thats excellent news - I hope it will keep improving for him - he must be feeling more cheerful himself now is he?
mozzy maybe you need to chat with him about disciplining the kids - it wont work if he keeps interupting you or changing what you are saying or whatever - he should be backing you not making it worse. (hugs)
pooh you will be pleased to get all the clearing up doen after the wedding - maybe thats whats making you feel bleurgh! you have been working hard this last couple of weeks - be kind to yourself tonight - sorry cant help with the paint and my painter isnt here or I would ask him.
Sharon a 60 in 60 is a challenge that Mudbath set herself and a few of us copy from time to time - 60 things in 60 minutes -decluttering of whatever you need to do - throwing out, putting away, filing, charity bagging, etc
boddy poor horse and I expect your adrenaline was pumping too - glad you manged to catch it - so you can add horse wrangling to your CV now!!:rotfl:
mummyof5 ooooooooh you naughty thing - was all on tenterhooks there for a minute!! YAY - lots of pink shopping now:rotfl::rotfl:
ginger well done with the weight loss and the flying:T
rosepink - why dont you do an online shoping?
DayDreamBeliever :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: psml at the thought of your little woof on your knee - yes she will keep you busy with the windows and surfaces - i seem to remember they drool a lot???? well done for doing the nasty bits - they are never quite as bad as we think they will be:rolleyes:
valli you are taking your life in your hands there - I hope you are well insured :rotfl::rotfl:

was busy doing a 60 in 60 put away when the joiners turned up to do the skirting so that was a bonus - its now on and the painter will pop in tomorrow and paint it so all thats left is the door when it arrives.

I have scrubbed out the cupboard that had to be moved and its dry now so I can get it filled up again after tea. also did the tiles and switches and the doors of the cupboard so thats a whole section done - also did the fronts of the big appliances - slowly but surely getting there!!

    toots xx

Tootles - he's feeling very down at the moment but I think that's to be expected. He still can't read so i'm going round tomorrow and ordering some talking books for him. He also listened to a play on the radio today and really enjoyed it. I phoned him up and he was chatting for half an hour when normally he doesn't talk on the phone at all so that was really nice.

I've just let my daughter go out to play with some friends round our estate. She's ten years old and she's going to go to high school on her own next year so I've got to let her start. Luckily she has some really nice friends at school who called on her and i'm very friendly with one of the boy's mums. She's just text to say they've all gone to her house and are playing in the garden. Phew!!!

House is ok (ish)... need to do another washing load now.

    Mummyof5 - congratulations!! xx
