Extras- Sort out your own shoes and bags.. can any be rehomed?Actually I REALLY don't understand this ... rehome? Bags? Shoes? Why?
DONT DO IT VALLI!!! They made me do it two weeks ago and I got rid of two black bags FULL - not even a little bit full, but really full, right to the top!!!
I was in shock for a long time afterwards and am emotionally scarred. I refused, point blank this week as there was absolutely no way I was parting with any more. My sacrifice has been that neither have I purchased anymore!! Although, i did buy a handbag this week, but in my defense it was in the next sale, and a silver (gunmetal grey kinda) largish shoulder bag, which i do not currently own anything like.....so it was essential and MSE!
My larger bags are all formal for work, or teeny-weeny-cant-even-fit-my-mobile-in-going-out-type bags. This is more casual, go-with-jeans-type bag
Flying wise (I still cant beleive they make us throw out shoes on here, im so glad its not just me - still struggling to come to terms with this, can you tell!) I have brought in towels from dryer and folded up, put spare room bedding in TD, washed my own bedding, hung up all other wet washing on radiators and driers. Ironing. Dishes, some more in basin to go.
I have also taken pics of some stuff to go on Ebay but the photos where taking ages to load onto the Ebay pages so have saved the listings for later. I then Ironed the stuff ready to pack.
Ive also spent ages since after-school with LO who is currently refusing to do work in class. He will do it if the teacher sits beside him and constantly keeps on at him to put pencil to paper, but as soon as shes not sitting on top of him, he is staring out of the window, or messing around with his mates. Im at my wits end.
The other day, all morning he wrote the letters 'D, E and V' between 9am and 10.30 (playtime). they were working on development of tadpoles to frogs.....that was as much as he wrote in 90 mins! She's spoken to him, shes spoken to me, Ive spoken to him, the Headteacher knows, and HE knows that she knows - but still he sits with his head in the clouds.
He is bone idle. So currently he is working through the spelling books from FRODDERS!!! (thank you!) His little backside is grounded and he has been told that if he wont do the work at school he needs to do it at home. No TV, cartoons, games, computers of any kind, NOTHING!! He will be lucky if he gets tea!!!
He will get tea, im just so annoyed with him!!! Tomorrow when i take him to school, im going to tell him that im waiting outside the Headteachers office and if he wont get on with his work im going to come and sit in class. Hes at the stage where he wont give me a kiss in school in front of his mates, so if im gonna sit beside him in class and hold his hand, that might embarrass him enough to get on with it - I hope. I dont know what else to do.
Anyway, better start thinking about feeding us both xxxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Noted Jo (sighs with relief)I threw out a pair of Clarks wedges end of last summer...I had had them since the summer before and they were well worn and tatty but I miss them they were so comfy. That's quite enough for now.
And my oldest handbag (that I still use)is from Italy and must be over 20 years old and I love it - even if I do use it only twice a year...it has a special place in my heart.
Actually I have a handbag (handmade in Trinidad WI) which was given to me when I was 13 (red suede) so it will be OLDER THAN PIGPEN I think  (or not far off...)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Afternoon everyone.
Have not long been up so thought I would catch up while having a cuppa.
Was late getting to bed as plumber was here a while putting new taps and waste pipe on.
While waiting for my taxi from work I saw a loose horse running down the main road. Shouted for my colleagues then the stupid thing ran across the road and just missed getting hit. It then came onto the grass outside work. While someone phoned the police another colleague and I went out and tried to grab it. Must have looked really funny as it wanted to keep going towards the woods with us hanging on. The guy who runs the community centre tried to help but he was laughing that hard. Hope we are not on the cctv as I could imagine seeing us on Ive Been Framed. The owner came and got it.
Flying wise I tidied kitchen before I went to bed but need to do floor later as its got big bootprints all over. Will also tackle some of the livingroom.
Valli Hugs for you and stepdad.

Hi Sharon, this is where you throw out/recycle/ebay/freecycle 60 things in 60 minutes. A great and quick way to get rid of a whole load of clutter in one go!
In the first hour, you can fill a bag for the bin.
2nd a bag for the charity shop
3rd a bag for freecycle.
180 items removed from your home in an afternoon - easy peasy
