well Kazwookie
personally I think it's really nice that she asked you at all and you should have helped her as you had offered...at least you weren't 3rd best.
;):p
***ONLY JOKING***
What an utterly RUDE thing for her to to do - you were kind enough to offer...well done for putting her right. Humph! Some people...
have done my ironing, washed the pots and (unheard of in Valli Towers) dried them and put them away.
re the tears...I haven't had any in my class (Y3) for ages - but that's cos it turns me to stone and I am utterly unsympathetic...I have one who tries...and is ignored so she stops.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Hi everyone - I'm back !! Camp was really good and the children were brilliant - despite the weather! I can't believe some of the things they did!! Wow!

soappie :eek:must have been a HUGE bird
Toots - it must have been. I was going through open country at the time so it could have been a big bird of prey - or lots of littler birds ganging up together to dump at the same time. Or a smaller bird which had a severe case of the trots and emptied more than its body weight worth of yuk on my car. It was all white if anyone's interested....
I washed the car and discovered there were even more splash marks on the passenger rear driver's side window. It's just as well I didn't have my driver side window open at the time
And, I have excelled. I have also completed today's mission so another star if you please and when you have a moment Toots. I am now extremely knackered....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Toots - I do so enjoy reading about your hugs in the post. Glad it is the last day tomorrow for you.
I have done nothing apart from the DW, WM and a quick kitchen S&S. Busy head day for work and then lots more phone calls from work after I finished, with potentially more problems tomorrow (when I am not working). Don't mind dealing with it - people are fretting and I can sort that but it makes it hard to switch off.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Evening all. Hope all are well and happy. I've not managed to catch up tonight so hugs and hellos to all.
Long long day at work, only been in about 40 minutes in which I've filled DH in on my day, had a shower and eaten dinner, am now watching 'Miss Potter' on dvd. Not really into it but it will make me sit still for a while! Will have to leave the bedroom til later in the week I'm afraid - need an early night tonight.
froddy - glad you survived enjoyed itMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Ok, I have found a pen and this is what I have caught up on...
Mudbath, hope the side affects are not too bad, the kitchen sounds great
Froddington, Glad it all went well, kids are amazing at what they can do in a different enviroment, aren't they, well done to you and the other teachers
Soappie, birds are lovely at times except when they insist on doing their business over cars/ washing/ heads etc
SShattered, what colour have you painted it and what did you actually want?
Carol, glad the exam went well, I hate exams and am not looking foreward to mine in June, last year, after the oral I sat in the car park and cried for half an hour, I get really wound up!!!
Julie Jim, hope you have a great day and that the weather stays fine for you
Gratefulforhelp, I only work at lunchtime at the school at by the end of it I'm the one close to tears!! I salute all teachers for their fab work. I used to work in nurseries before having DD and found under 2's less cheeky although their tantrums MIGHT rival a 7 year olds!!!
Hope I got it all, flying.... dog in and fed, might see if there are any beers in the fridge and declutter 1 or 2!!!!!!0 -
